We cruise past Split Apple Rock as far as the Tonga Island Marine Reserve in the heart of the park where New Zealand fur seals bask in the sun. Then we find a sheltered bay with opportunities to kayak, go ashore for a bush walk, or just relax on board while we prepare a delicious platter style lunch with fresh local ingredients.

Explore the National Park with a morning water taxi, a short walk and an afternoon sail. Board your water taxi at 10.30 am at Kaiteriteri Beach and cruise into the Abel Tasman National Park. Cruise by the iconic Split Apple Rock, and Fisherman and Adele Islands where you may see the NZ Fur Seals. After 35 minutes you arrive at Anchorage Bay where you have time to walk the Pitt Head loop track (walk time approximately 1 -1.5 hours). This walk takes you to Te Pukatea Bay – a quiet bay and one of the crews favourite beaches in the National Park. Walk back to Anchorage to meet the skipper and join the sailing catamaran departing at 1.15pm. Catch the sea breeze for a 3 hour sail further into the Park and back to Kaiteriteri. Along the way expect to see secluded coves, islands, golden sand beaches, Bush clad coastline, pristine clear waters and native wildlife. Complimentary tea/coffee and juice is provided on board the sailing catamaran.

Embark on an adventure to one of New Zealands most pristine national parks, Abel Tasman. With crystal clearwaters, golden beaches, and lush rainforest, whats not to love. Park Start, staring in the park ensures you paddle in the same direction as the sea breeze rather than going against it! After a safety briefing, catch a water taxi up to Onetahuti beach in the Abel Tasman National Park then paddle south one-way down the coast over three sun and sea kissed days back to Marahau!

Spend half a day exploring the southern Abel Tasman by kayak, and half a day exploring the great walk coastal track between Observation and Marahau. This is the original Abel Tasman Kayaks, kayak and walk tour. This area has the highest concentration of golden sandy beaches and this trip also explores Adele Island bird sanctuary and the seal colony.

Start your day with a 3.5 – 4 hour freedom walk along the Abel Tasman Coastal Track through native forest to Anchorage Bay. At 1.15 pm meet your skipper and sailing catamaran and enjoy a 3 hour afternoon sail catching the sea breeze to Kaiteriteri. Take in the golden beaches, bays, islands and birdsong. Learn about the history, marine life flora and fauna from your knowledgeable skipper. Relax and enjoy your time on board or get involved with the sailing. Free transfer back to your vehicle in Marahau at the end of the day.
