Take some time out on a relaxing boat ride down the stunning Durban Point Waterfront Canals. Put your feet up and take in the beautiful surroundings as you drift down the canal on your own private gondola. Be sure to look out for the stunning bridges which make for lovely pics, as well as the rich fish life in the canal as you drift along.The boat cruise is 30 min and you will finish feeling – well – a little far away from it all. Experience this guided half-day cultural tour, starts in District Six with an introduction to the townships and the damage of apartheid policies, visit several of the townships starting with Langa, the oldest and smallest township where you will see various cultural and historical sites. Visit a local pre-school where you will spend time with local children who are full of energy and fun, you will also visit with a traditional healer and go on a walking tour to a shebeen (local pub) and maybe taste local beer. The pedal boats are located in the historic Durban Point Waterfront on the canals.We are the only pedal boat operator on the canals which are a protected marine reserve containing 30 different types of fish.The pedal boats are self driven and are a great way to have fun for all ages. The pedal boats are easy to operate and are light exercise, we have 8 boats so groups can cruise and have fun together.Our pedal boats offer an inexpensive fun experience.

Waterfront Kayak have very stable sit on top kayaks making it the perfect paddling craft for beginners. You are able to jump off for a swim and our guides will assist you in getting back into your kayak. Given the stability, you aren't required to be well versed in balancing on our kayaks. We offer a paddling experience and thus client need not feel pressured to paddle to a destination and can rather enjoy a leisurely paddle, enjoying the surrounds and fresh ocean air.

In this tour you will get to know some of the places of the city of Rio de Janeiro called "Little Africa" by artist and sambista Heitor dos Prazeres in the early twentieth century. These sites are part of the historical and archaeological circuit of celebration and awareness of the African heritage of blacks in Brazil.  "Little Africa" has come to identify a significant part of the city's waterfront, where African presence and black cultural heritage have forever marked the history, not just of Rio de Janeiro but throughout Brazil.  Often blacks from all over the country were welcomed there, usually by "Aunt Ciata" who was a very important figure for this whole historical process. It is through this walk through "Little Africa" you will also get to know the Cultural Center "Tia Ciata", Museum of New Blacks, Cais do Valongo, hanging garden and we will finish in Pedra do Sal where besides the historical collection also has great bars and restaurants of typical Afro-Brazilian foods.
