【Important Notes】 This tour is very popular. Group size may be 15–30 people, and the stable may be shared with other tour groups. From May 11–25 (Grand Tournament period), the sumo practice finishes earlier than usual, around 9:00 AM. However, the tour still starts at 7:30 AM and includes a special brunch after the training, ending around 10:30 AM. Let’s watch the wrestler’s morning practice right next to the ring and feel the intense and serious atmosphere. The sound of wrestlers colliding to each other, their breath and the scent of the fragrance they wear are something that you can never feel by watching any videos. You will meet with your knowledgeable tour guide at the station and walk to the stable(10mins walk). Your guide will explain you about Sumo, its history, rules and regulations before entering the stable and then watch it together. You will see the unique traditional sports which is at the same time religious rituals, originally started to entertain the Shinto deities. If you are lucky, you will get to take photos with the wrestlers after the practice outside of the stable!

My journey in yoga commenced years ago when my mother, against my reluctance, urged me to attend her yoga class at the studio she owned. It was during the final resting pose, shavasana, that I experienced the profound impact of the practice— a feeling of weightlessness and inner peace engulfed me. As time passed, I immersed myself more frequently in yoga, and one day while practicing on the beach, I caught the attention of a passer-by who expressed interest in joining me. This marked the beginning of my path as a yoga instructor. After attaining my RYS-200 certification, I opened my practice to anyone nearby who wished to partake in the journey with me. It has been a rewarding experience, guiding and sharing the practice with others, as I continue to grow in my role as a yoga teacher, and never stop learning.

The guide will first explain the origin, history, rules, fun, etc. of sumo. Sumo wrestlers are working extremely hard to be stronger because their ranking directly affects their income. The morning practice starts before 7:00 a.m. with stretching, warming-up, and a routine of basic sumo movements. We get into the stable around 8:00 a.m. when they start practice matches. You will be overwhelmed by the sounds as you watch wrestlers hit their bodies head-on again and again. By this time, you will realize a huge mass of muscles constitute their bodies. When they stretch to cool down, you are now surprised to see how supple they are, which may be counter-intuitive given their gigantic bodies. We will mostly have a chance to take photos with them after the practice.

This rare tour takes customers to a sumo stable where sumo wrestlers live and train every day. Get an up-close look at the morning practice, where sumo wrestlers fiercely collide with each other. The tour will visit a sumo stable where active Makuuchi Division wrestlers belong. The tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter who will provide basic information about sumo and introduce the wrestlers of Tatsunami-beya, the sumo stable that the tour will be visiting. Whispering and talking are strictly prohibited while watching the practice, but an audio guide service is available. This is a 2-hour, stage magic show featuring 5 or 6 professional stage magicians that perform in Las Vegas, London, and Monte Carlo. It includes close-up magic with cards and coins performed at your seat before the show. You will then enjoy a 2-hour stage show: 5 or 6 award-winning, international magicians will each perform 15 or 20 minutes of their professional stage acts. After the stage show will be more informal close-up magic.
