Spend an enriching 6 hours at the park snowshoeing, hiking, spotting wildlife, canoeing, and swimming (depending on the time of the year, joining the tour). Spring – Moose watching and wildlife spotting time. We will hike Mizzy Lake Trail or similar trail (10 km, good for beginners and intermediate hikers). Summer/Fall – You can choose between hiking tour only or hiking and canoeing. On our hiking tour only, we will hike around 10 km/day and on our hiking and canoeing tour, we will hike 3 km, canoe for 1,5 hours, swim and relax on the beach. Winter – Strap on a pair of snowshoes and venture into the wilderness, leaving footprints in the untouched snow. Snowshoes are included. While there are many trails to choose from, we will pick one that offers the best lookout points.

If you like bird watching and hiking this is the perfect tour. We meet early to have the best chances for successful observation. We fuel you up with gourmet pastries from Henrietta's Pine Bakery. HD binoculars are provided to each participant. Our guide on this program is a five year company veteran who is an accomplished amateur ornithologist. Since he grew up locally, and spends all his free time birding, he is the best way to learn about the 270+ birds that inhabit Algonquin Park. You will meet your guide at west gate entrance of Algonquin for 6:20am. Trail options (easy – challenging) will be discussed and you will follow the guide to the chosen destination. Tour runs 7-10am. 3 Hour Algonquin Park Bicycle Tour (private – price is for 1 or 2 people)


A private three hour Algonquin Park bicycle tour with the Algonquin Adventure Tours founder. We offer a relaxed three hour, two wheeled, voyage into local nature, history and culinary delights. We have bicycles (GT and Devinci mountain bikes) and helmets for every occasion. XL-XS adult frames, kids frame(10-12yrs), child tandems for smaller kids, a child trailer for two toddlers and a full sized tandem (for an adult with no experience or vision). The trail is a mostly flat, dirt & gravel, former railway bed. There is no technical riding on this trail. Although, we may ride through mud puddles if it has recently rained. the nature/history and stop at special locations. Enjoy a scenic picnic meal from Henrietta's Pine Bakery, wild seasonal edibles and so much fun. Daily at 8am, 12pm & 4pm. Age 3+. Price includes 2 participants. This private adventure will guide 1 or 2 participant to our favourite spots for lake trout, smallmouth bass and yellow perch fishing. We have a 90% success rate for fishing trips. Your guide is the company founder, Stuart L. Letovsky. We use only top quality eco-friendly equipment, including a revolutionary Torqeedo 3hp electric motor. Breakfast includes gourmet pastries from the famous Henrietta's Pine Bakery and fresh brewed/ground organic coffee. This tour is only offered 7-10am, so we have the best chance of success.
