As advertised, we only operate small-group, private, or customized tour options to give you the flexibility to choose and tailor the tour program that best suits your travel itinerary, or simply your boutique and tour style. If you are not an extreme bird watcher, or just want to have a leisurely breakfast, we can always start the tour at 8:00 am, 9:00 am or even 10:00 am. BEACH TIME NOTE: Upon advance request, additional beach time can be provided with pre-arranged return transportation after the tour. If you book the 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. tour, the beach time will be very limited, as the park beaches close at 3:00 p.m. (showers close at 3:30 p.m.). If you'd like to take a quick dip, please let us know before the tour starts.

For the next 2 hours, you will be taken through several trails in our quest to spot animals. As a Certified ICT Nature Specialist, i will be helping you to discover different species of animals hidden or camouflaged in plain sight and sharing interesting facts learned by guiding tours for over 13 years. During the tour, pictures and videos of your favorite animals through our Swarovski Spotting Scope with no additional cost, adding fantastic memories to your vacations. Wildlife at the park is exuberant, like sloths, monkeys, toucans, different species of birds, butterflies, lizards, iguanas, and crabs. It could be seen on our way to Manuel Antonio beach, Where you can stay there enjoying the beach for the rest of day. After booking, you will receive an email with instructions for the tour.

On this tour you will depart from the Capital of San José taking a route along the central Pacific coastline. Remember that it is not a zoo so your sighting is totally natural. After finishing the tour, you will have free time on the beach and the guide will give you the departure time so you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Please send or attach to your reservation at least 24 hours in advance the full names and passport numbers to add it to your ticket, otherwise we will not guarantee your entry. In the National Park there are guided services with a telescope, which has an additional cost if you want a more specialized tour. You can mention to the guide that you want this additional service. The park does not allow the entry of food or single-use plastics, so we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle.
