Departing Galway at 9 AM sharp, we will travel south along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way and through the Burren to the charming village of Doolin, where you'll board the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. Explore the island’s ancient castle, sunken church, shipwreck, and beautiful beach. Enjoy a stroll through quiet boreens or hire a pony & trap or bike (extra cost). After departing Inisheer, your ferry returns to Doolin, followed by a guided cruise along the base of the Cliffs of Moher—an unforgettable view of cliffs rising 214m high and stretching 8km along the coast. Prefer not to join the cruise? You may disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group. We’ll enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal. We then spend an hour at the top of the Cliffs—enjoy a walk and stunning views from above. Once we depart the Cliffs we will take the coast road home, following the Wild Atlantic Way, arriving in Galway at approximately 19:30.

Join a local farmer, historian and walking enthusiast on this spectacular guided walk along the Cliffs of Moher sea cliffs, as he shares his enthusiasm and passion for the area, local history, folklore and the preservation of a rural lifestyle. Walk to the highest point of the Cliffs of Moher standing 214m (702 feet) above sea level, where views of the Dingle Peninsula and Loop Head in the South, the Aran Islands to the West with the Twelve Pins and mountains of Connemara to the North can be seen on a clear day. From O’ Brien’s Tower witness the amazing vistas of lush green grass, rocky cliffs and varying shades of sea and sky and hear the waves of the mighty Atlantic ocean crashing below. The walk takes approximately 3 hours along a gravel path and finishes at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre where a taxi ride back after the walk to Doolin village is included The trail is an easy walk, it requires a basic level of fitness and a good head for heights and is 8km long.

Participants will be picked up from their hotel in an early morning in an air-conditioned minivan and taken to the boat. The trip takes you to Giftun Island with its fine sandy beach and turquoise water. We begin the tour by heading to the El Silencio Private Reserve, to get as close to the base of the volcano as possible by vehicle. Next, we will walk approximately 1.5 kilometer along a volcanic stone path with a moderate degree of difficulty, until we reach the viewpoint, the closest point to volcano permitted to access. At the viewpoint, our guide will provide relevant information on the formation of the Arenal Volcano, its periods of activity, as well as unpublished details of its first eruption in 1968.
