Costa Rica top 10 Tubing  Tour & Floating experience We will go on our Rainforest Limo to the Arenal River to star our activity.  After 5 minutes walk through the forest we arrive to the Maleku Village at the botton of  the Arenal River. Natives will perform a 10 minutes introduction to their culture, medice and traditions. After, we will take to tubs and hike 10 minutes till get to the river,  where we will enjoy the tubing adventure and have a short briefing about security. After a short walk, we arrive at the foot of the river, where the tubing starts. Then everyone gets his proper rafting “tube” to make the adrenaline in your body seek its way out, while you have to navigate through Arenal River crystal clear rapids. We leave from La Fortuna in one of our comfortable minivans. The ride takes around 30 minutes to get to the rain forest where the hanging bridges of different heights are located. During this approximate two mile hike, with some luck, you will be able to see: Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, white faced Capuchin Monkeys, many species of birds, snakes, Armadillos, Coatimundis (a member of the Racoon family often known to beg for scraps) and various other animals that may include Iguanas and Sloths.

The length of the tour is approximately four hours; from La Fortuna we have to go 5 ½ kilometers to the southeast. We spend 1 ½ hours to get to the rest site of the horses. A beautiful example of the Costa Rican country site will be found along the way, cattle farms and agriculture, also the chance to see some birds as oropendolas and tucans.

La Fortuna Waterfall Reserve is a place where over 4 000 ml precipitation a year give you the chance to enjoy this majestic 210 feet high fall. A five hundred meters downhill hike will give you the chance to see it from the very bottom where a “natural pool” awaits if you want to swim in the fresh water of La Fortuna river.
