This five-day adventure spends ample time at Kakadu National Park, Nitmiluk National Park and Litchfield National Park and includes exclusive access to Arnhem Land. Spend time with the Traditional Owners of Wulna Country, take a croc-filled cruise along the East Alligator River, check out the spectacular Jim Jim Falls and swim in the breathtaking locations on this unforgettable adventure through Australia’s far north.

A unique opportunity to venture into Arnhem Land, a vast wilderness home to the traditional owners. We have a very special arrangement with the traditional owners whereby we have access to some very special sacred sites. When at Injalak Hill our tours are guided by a local indigenous guide who will show you excellent examples of rock art as well as many insights into their culture.

Our experiences are 100% indigenous guided (subject to cultural reasons), we are fortunate to have the most amazing relationship with traditional owners. Our Binninj guides still live a largely traditional lifestyle and in all cases English is not their first language. We we are the only day tour company departing Darwin to have the permits to visit some of the best rock art sites in Arnhem Land.

In this one day remembrance tour you get the story of the British 1st Airborne Division in the iconic Battle of Arnhem in September 1944. First we visit the landing zone at Ginkel Heath and the culvert. Then we follow the route of 2nd Para battalion to the John Frost Bridge in Arnhem via Kate ter Horst House, Lonsdale Church, Urquhart House and Elisabeth Gasthuis. We go back to Oosterbeek for Hotel Hartenstein, the White house, Hacket's Hollow and the perimeter. We conclude with a visit to the CWGC Oosterbeek Cemetery to pay our respects. Visit to the Hartenstein Airborne museum is optional and may impact the schedule.
