Our First stop is Assin Manso Slave Ancestral River Site where the enslaved Ancestors had their last bath before moving them to Cape Coast and Elmina castles for final shipment. After Assin Manso, we move to Cape Coast Castle for the main history about the slave trade during Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Erra and see the DOOR OF NO RETURN. After the castle, we get to enjoy the hike to Kakum National Park as we go onto Canopy Walk in the park. Get ready for an exciting but physically demanding (15-20 minute) hike in a dense Rain Forest. We will climb a hill so wear sporty shoes, sneakers and face towel for the forest hike. NB: You can skip Kakum National Park and go to Elmina Castle instead. Enjoy your trip!
