Our small team, fluent in English, are here to help make your time a memorable and authentic one. Tea ceremony is the perfect way to enjoy Japanese culture and experience a taste of Kyoto.
Inclusivity is very important to us, and all are welcome.
Chairs and tables are available for those that have difficulty sitting on the floor.
All our sweets are vegan, nut free and gluten dress.
Although we offer kimono rental, you do not need to wear kimono and please dress as you feel comfortable.
Unfortunately children under 6 years old cannot participate in shared or private tea ceremonies.

The tea ceremony goes in a small group. The maximum number of people are 6 for each session.But during peak seasons, it will increase to a maximum of 8 people.

Kajal is the chef and she’s based in Mumbai.
Coming from a traditional Indian family, she learned cooking these authentic recipes from her mother and her older sister. In 2017 she started food tours. In this cooking class, you’ll learn how to make a traditional paratha and masala tea.
Indian tea also known as chai is milky & rich, deeply colored, very hot, and boldly flavourful with a need for sugar to offset the toasty bitterness. The Masala Tea (Chai) is delicious Indian milk tea made with a blend of spices such as ginger.
Parathas are the highly popular unleavened flat-breads made with flour, salt, butter, and water and are eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner in India.
