Along this rocky coast with high and continuous cliffs overlooking the sea, far from the city, it will be possible to admire the colorful bee-eater, and listen to its unmistakable "crane-crane" sound. It is a migratory bird with a wingspan of about half a meter, which overwinters in tropical Africa and reaches our territory at the end of spring, to nest along the sandy walls. After reaching a shady pine forest on the sea, fascinating spontaneous orchids will sprout, these deceptive plants that with their strange shapes and colors always manage to attract, in addition to insects, nature and photography enthusiasts. The route will end in Torre Olivieri, a lookout tower located on the coast, in the Lama Paterna, an erosive furrow typical of the Apulian landscape, which conveys the meteoric waters from the karst plateau of the Murge towards the Adriatic Sea.
