Portland's chocolate scene is overwhelming; let us navigate you through its origins, passionate makers, and diversity with this walking tour that delves into what some call "decadence" but we call "delight." And we couldn't cover chocolate without the roasted seed of our other favorite tropical berry: coffee! Portland is known as the heart of the craft coffee roasting world, with so many small roasters, coffee lovers that we are, we struggle to taste them all. Our tour hits both the well-known highlights and some of the secrets of the chocolate scene, with a few surprises we don't want to give away. The tour in total is about 2.0 miles (3.5km), mostly flat walking, with tastings of chocolate and coffee — just the right amount so you'll have the opportunity to truly savor every sip and bite! Happening at our farm you will learn how to brew your coffee at home like a pro. Our experience barista will provide all the basic knowledge necessary for brewing. Coffee brewing can be very simple with very little equipment and it can change the way you taste coffee. During this workshop we will brew the same coffee three different ways, and you will experience the differences of taste. All this is happening in our roasting room where you will also be able to see the roaster. And if you have time you can also add a free farm tour before or after the workshop.

Experience the best Colombian coffee culture in AVOEDEN CAFÉ, a unique family owned coffee workshop training facility in El Poblado, where you can find the most delicious specialty coffee in Colombia that is directly grown by the owners in their coffee villa. Learn how to brew your perfect daily cup of coffee with three different preparations and start your morning caffeine fix with this two hours workshop tour.

During the activities, you'll try 6 different coffee drinks (from pure black coffee to the most iconic ones with ingredients) and the stories / origins behind them. There're always reasons, background situations connected to each of the drink. You will understand more about Vietnam history through the coffee tasting, as well as the people characteristics from different parts of the country reflexes on the drinks. Coffee is not just a drink, but how it's much more important to us. Hands-on brewing the coffee yourself. You'll get to know How to use "Phin" (traditional Vietnamese coffee dripper), together with the methods to make the iconic coffee drinks of Southern & Northern Vietnam (the "Ca phe sua" – condensed milk coffee & "Ca phe trung" – egg coffee). You'll be ready to make them at home easily with my tasty recipes/tips, an experienced QC / barista coach. All in all, a complete picture of everything you need to know about Vietnamese coffee.

Our starting point begins at the incredible Parque de la 93, a park recognized for its wide variety of restaurants. We will leave on a 2.5 hour tour to our first destination, La Vaca que Ríe. In this well-known restaurant that serves typical food from the region, you can enjoy a delicious almojábana with aguapanela courtesy of the house and get to know the extensive menu of local gastronomy. We will continue on our way to Hacienda Coloma, where with a basket and a hat, you will be able to live the unique experience of being a true coffee grower, from learning how the coffee tree (coffee plant) is grown to learning about its final production process and enjoying a delicious cup. of coffee and a shot of their liquor. Finally we will have lunch at the Solomillo Restaurant, just 5 minutes from the farm (not included). Our day ends by traveling the same road that took us to the hacienda for 2.5 hours, enjoying an Andean landscape at sunset until the initial starting point.
