We will leave Puerto Viejo at 7:45 am, then drive for like 30 minutes, arrive at the Bribri Indigenous reserve, where we’ll join an Indigenous family, learn about their culture and a variety of medicinal plants. Participants will then have the opportunity to learn about the history of the cacao tree, taste the fruit, make puréed chocolate. Once we finished with the chocolate we are going to have a typical lunch with a natural juice with the family. Also, we will visit a refreshing waterfall in the mountains of Talamanca. Participants will have the opportunity to swim in the large pool under the falls. After that, we will return to Puerto Viejo. A fruit will be included in this tour. For the pick up, if you are staying in or around Puerto Viejo, Cocles or Punta Uva, just send a message with the name of your hotel, and we will pick you up there.

In my experiences, people will be able to live and know from the perspective of a local person with indigenous descent. many traditions that are very important to the culture such as medicinal plants, knowing the ceremony house, crafts, cocoa chocolate making and history. and also very important to share with local people and take home a beautiful memory of everything experienced in the place.
and then after this beautiful cultural experience. We visited a waterfall in the area where you can swim and enjoy nature. It is an experience that will allow you to connect with the indigenous Bribri culture of the area and appreciate the nature of its surroundings, which very few people managed to visit and learn about the beauty of this culture. And something also very important is that even the little ones who live this experience will learn about one of the best-known cultures in Costa Rica.
