This is Barbados coastal exploration that takes you through historic Bridgetown onto the affluent West Coast, through Holetown, through Speightstown, continuing onto North Point. Travel through the northern countryside to Cherry Tree Hill and onto the East Coast for a delicious bajan lunch at The Sand Dunes bar and Restaurant. Continuing along the East coast, you make a picture stop at Bathsheba. From there its on to the St John's Church. You will continue to the south of the island on through Oistins completing your coastal Barbados tour.

Our resident Historian uses the art of storytelling to transport our guests to places and times chosen for our historic journey. Our resident historian has a Bachelors and Masters degree in History, and she uses her vast knowledge obtained from years in the field of Barbadian history to share many lesser known insights about the various attractions visited on the tour and the people that would have inhabited our land.

To start your day we will journey over to the East Coast of Barbados. Our first stop will be Cherry Tree Hill with its breathtaking views of the East Coast from there we will make our way to Morgan Lewis Windmill. .As we come down onto the coastline we will travel through Cattlewash and make a stop in Bathsheba which was named for its great beauty; it is also the location of the Soup Bowl the favorite stop for surfers in Barbados. Our next stop will be St John's Church one of the oldest churches on the island, set on a cliff and capturing spectacular views, then we will journey through the parish of St George past the Gun Hill signal station and the great white Lion as we make our way to the Garrison Historic area. Before our final stop we will make a stop for a sampling of a few Bajan treats. On the way back to the port we wil also pass through the capital of Bridgetown a UNESCO world heritage site.

Let's explore the engrossing Jewish history, where the Jewish settlers help establish, Barbados becoming the richest Island in the Americas and establishing the oldest Nidge Synagogue, the oldest in the Americas, one of Barbado's seven wonders. Even more impressive, the Mikveh that was discovered by archaeologists in Barbados in 2008 unearthed what may be the oldest Mikveh in the Americas, dating back to 1660, the Mikveh is fed by a natural spring and the history of the Holocaust survivors coming to Barbados in the 1900. Stroll into what was once Jew town, where you can discover where the Jewish people live and work, then unto the Jewish Historic District, and explore the Nidge Synagogue, Mikveh, and the Cemetery. Stroll into the museum that was once the schoolhouse and discover the captivating history, watch an interactive video, feeling the past, after finishing the tour, you are going to be in awe at what you discovered, the Barbados connection with the Sephardic Jews from Spain.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset on beautiful sunset cruises, you would not miss out on the snorkeling and the turtles, still have plenty of time for that.  It tends to be a lot quieter out on the ocean in the afternoon and most times you can enjoy the snorkeling spots all to ourselves. The tour starts at 2:45pm and return at 6:15 pm, the cruise includes your transportation from and to the place where you are staying, as well as drinks and Tapas (finger food) (can include and not limited to banana bread, cheese platter, fish cakes, veg platter, min sandwiches, chicken wings, mini pizzas, samosas). Learn to mix rum-based cocktails with your host and rummelier Dameain, voted "Mixologist of the year" in Barbados for two consecutive years! A brand ambassador for West Indies Rum Distillery's rums, Dameain is also a TV personality. Dameain is excited to share his passion for mixology by offering a master mixology class at the Pelican Bar. Funnily enough, Dameain started his career in nutrition. At the end of his shift at the most popular bar and restaurant in St. Lawrence Gap (Cafe Jungles), he would hang out and help at the bar. His manager saw his interest in the bar and he has since become one of the top bartenders/mixologists in the country.
