This tour provides insight about the materials, crafts people, construction and design of the wreaths and garlands adorning the exterior of most 18th Century buildings, exhibits and private homes and different judging categories. We meet at The Williamsburg Inn to admire the decorations and begin our journey to the Duke of Gloucester. We'll discuss how holidays were celebrated in 17th and 18th Centuries here in Virginia including plantations, our Capital cities and during the Revolutionary War (e.g., Continental Army). Holiday biscuits by African descendants or traditional gingerbread cookies are offered. If before 7PM, we offer hot beverages. Make Bean Paste Ricake with your own design that you can't find anywhere else. Learn how to wrap the inner bean paste finely with dough, divide and draw lines using tools, and put fine decorations on the top. We can't make the outside batter(dough) together, but we provide a recipe for the customer you want. If anyone who want to learn outside skin dough, then please ask the 2 hours additional class. This is a quiet residential area around Toshimaen Station where the Harry Potter interactive facility “Warner Boozers Studio Tour Tokyo” is located. Using rice flour cake as a base, you can decorate the cake with lively flowers (made with anko (bean paste) squeezing). You can enjoy the experience of making a cake that will bring joy to the recipient. In the trial lesson, we will explain the process in an easy-to-understand way for those who are new to flower squeezing. The rice flour cake (sorgi) for the base will be prepared in advance by the instructor. After coloring the red bean paste with the color of your choice, you will squeeze ranunculus, ranunculus buds, and kodemari flowers. You will learn the basic posture, tools, materials, and colors of flower pressing. You will be able to take home a cake box. This popular class has been attended by a total of 750 people.
