Our friendly Marine Biologist will share in-depth knowledge of the area, local points of interest & encounters we experience within Byron’s Marine Park.The migration of whales is a significant feat & a spectacular event to witness as they frolic & breach. At more than 2,500-kms, this is considered one of the longest migrations in the animal kingdom.

On this tour, guests are taken on an easy walk while learning about significant places and hearing local history and traditional stories. Highlights include the story of Nguthungalli (Julian Rocks), and information about Walgun (Cape Byron) and the thousand year old midden. There are also opportunities to learn some Bundjalung language and about bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artefacts. After hotel pick up, head to old port of Limassol to embark on a fun catamaran cruise. As you head along the west coast of Limassol, enjoy the sea breeze on your face and admire the Limassol coastline. Cruise on the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea in comfort. Along the way you will be listening to soft music. During your first swim stop at Cape Gata, you may enjoy swimming for about one hour and a half. Also, you may simply bask in the sun. Cruise back along Limassol coast towards the unspoilt beaches of Ladies Mile Beach, with a further two hours stop for swimming and lunch. Served on board will be a buffet lunch. Last drop off at hotels is at about 4:30pm.

Our Wildlife Safari takes you to three different habitats near Byron Bay. You’ll visit eucalyptus forest, rainforest and grassland to discover the animals that live there. We guarantee you’ll see a koala or two, a mob of kangaroo, and many species of bird. If conditions are right you may also see pademelon, echidna, tawny frogmouth and water dragons. Along the way you will be amazed at the abundant birdlife. On this tour we travel to where the animals live so it involves a bit of driving. We start with a 45-minute drive to our first stop and end the day with a 1-hour drive back to Byron Bay. In between there are short drives and walks.
