We launch from Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) which has clean restrooms, a rinsing shower, and shaded picnic tables. Our amazing local guides from Sea Life Kayak Adventures take you on a tour of Little Sarasota Bay, where you may see manatees, dolphins, a variety of birds and sea life…then finish up in the famous mangrove tunnels, a beautiful canopy that meanders thru an island. The tour usually goes around 2 hours, but we aren't on a strict schedule, so please allow for an extra half hour. We are located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, 20 minutes from Siesta Key, and a half hour from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton (add time for traffic during high season. On warmer days we encourage guests to swim and cool off in Lake Tahoes mostly sub 70 degree water. There is also an option to jump off Bonzai Rocks into the water for a more thrilling adventure. 3 Hour Self-Guided Kayaking Tour: Paddling a single sea kayak is a fun and unique way to explore Sydney's Middle Harbour. Choose your own adventure, paddle to some of Sydney's most pristine beaches, get a glimpse out the heads to the Pacific Ocean, or glide past the lush bushland of the Garigal National Park while looking for wildlife in their natural environment. The Single kayaks that we provide are very easy to paddle, smooth through the water and moderately stable. The deluxe single kayaks are made of lightweight materials like Kevlar, or carbon fiber. Less weight means less resistance through the water, making them easier to paddle. They are all Australian made and well maintained.
