Enter the National Park to visit Henrhyd Falls, the tallest and most spectacular waterfall in South Wales. Proceed to the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog and enjoy a short stop at the second oldest tree in Wales, a stunning yew tree that is 3018 years old. Stop in Brecon town, where you can admire the canals—voted the prettiest in Britain. Continue to the town of Merthyr Tydfil to tour Cyfarthfa Castle, located in a picturesque park (optional activity, entry free not included). Next Marvel at Caerphilly Castle, the largest in Wales and a UNESCO World Heritage site (optional activity, entry free not included) or take a stroll around this magnificent fortress, or relax with an ice cream in the town. End your day at Castell Coch, a fairy-tale castle nestled in the woods. Please note that the visit to the waterfalls will involve a 30 minutes walk. The path may be steep and muddy, so we recommend wearing boots and rainproof clothing.

Alternatively, if you prefer to relax, take some time for yourself to enjoy the beach or savor an ice cream by the seafront. The highlight of your tour will be a visit to Rhossili Bay. Its ruins are a testament to a troubled past but now, in the Wye Valley, it is quiet and contemplation that is most often experienced. Caerphilly Castle is quite remarkable! It has a leaning tower, just like Pisa! A fine example of a moated castle with towers and walls intact. Castell Coch is our final destination and it's a beauty. Renovated by the Victorians, it is gorgeous both inside and out.
