In this tour, you will experience making your own Bonsai with a Bonsai master in Tokyo. What is Bonsai? Bonsai is known as a work of “living art” in Japan, and it has been prominent in Japanese culture since long ago. Unlike planting trees in a field, Bonsai trees are delicately cultivated on a tray or bowl where the grower has more control of the size and amount of roots that grow and thus are able to confine the root systems and miniaturize trees. Assistant will be waiting for you at Toei-Shinjuku line Mizue station south exit. Please meet with your assistant and go to bonsai museum. This tour will be operated in bonsai museum by professional bonsai artist. In case you want to ask many questions to them, no worry please do ask to our assistant and, he/she will be happy to translate. During this activity, you will have the opportunity to learn the art of bonsai cultivation. However, please be aware that the bonsai must remain at the venue and cannot be taken home.

There will be plenty of food, just in case the "bar" part makes you think otherwise.  We spread our tachinomi visits across two different neighborhoods, with a 6 minute train ride between the two. Adjunct to the tachinomi odyssey is a slightly more anthropological one, covering a bounty of cultural sights and topics, from nightlife to grocery shopping and more. With food, three drinks, and train fare included, you won't need to spend a single, shiny yen this carefree night.

You can also choose experiences other than Suiboku-ga (ink painting), so please choose what you want to do beforehand. We will ask you by e-mail. In case of Suiboku-ga While explaining the tools, we will draw a basic Suiboku-ga bamboo. You will also learn how to look at Suiboku-ga. In the case of watercolor painting The instructor will choose a photo of a Japanese landscape (Mt. Fuji) as the subject for a landscape painting. The instructor will teach you how to paint your own favorite scenery. For ballpoint pen drawings Participants will be asked to draw a landscape drawing using a photo of a Japanese landscape chosen by the instructor as the subject. You will learn shortcuts for rough finishing. In the case of colored pencil drawings The instructor will teach you how to draw realistically using colored pencils. This is done on postcard size paper.

Japanese kimonos are mainly small sizes to fit our physiques. But we have plus-size Kimonos you can enjoy! If you are traveling alone and want to take pictures, you have to ask someone or use a tripod. However, Asakusa town is very crowded and it is difficult to use a tripod. There are also cases where you want to take photos with two people as a couple. We will take as many pictures as you like within the time limit. I will also take you to recommended photo spots. ★Notes★ Please read carefully the notes in What To Expect.　More than that size, may be canceled. Please measure the size of the participants before booking. We will send messages after you booking, please check the message and answer the questions about your body size. This is the best way to experience a day trip to the Big Island. Go on a journey flying over the volcano on the A Star helicopter for 45 minutes to 50 minutes. After the helicopter tour we will take you closer to the highlights of Hilo (4 to 5 hour ground tour). Tour duration from Oahu approximately 5:00am – 7:00pm. Times may vary depending on the flight availability. Once booked this tour is not refundable. On the day of the Helicopter tour, Helicopter portion of the package might be cancelled due to weather and safety resons. In case of Helicopter cancellation, we will refund $350 for the helicopter portion only. Other portions of the tour will continue as scheduled.
