If sipping Champagne while cruising down The River Seine is your idea of heaven, this champagne tasting cruise will be a highlight of your trip to Paris! The Champagne will be flowing as you cruise down the River Seine past some of Paris' most famous monuments. Combining a sightseeing cruise and Champagne tasting, you'll enjoy a champagne presentation by an expert sommelier, held in a private area at the front of the boat while you cruise along the Seine. It's important to ARRIVE BEFORE THE DEPARTURE of the boat because the boat won't be able to delay the departure time that is 6:30 PM. We advise you to arrive between 6:00pm and 6:15pm maximum. Take a guided tour of one of the grand champagne houses such as: Moet & Chandon, Mercier, Nicolas Feuillatte, Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger, Boizel or other famous champagne houses, depending on availability, as well as a smaller estate later in the day. Taste their elegant and exclusive product and hear about the history of their champagne estate, afterwards enjoy a third blind tasting and learn to differentiate between different types of bubbly in this tasting right surrounded by the vineyards. Visit a family-owned Champagne house for an exclusive look at their winemaking process. Return to Reims by 5:30 pm after a day filled with scenic views, culture, and Champagne tastings. Be welcomed at 4:00pm in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House in the middle of Champagne vineyards (Le Clos Corbier). During the visit to the cellars dug in the 1850’s, you will start with the discovery of a traditional press and learn all about the secrets of the champagne making process. Take a seat and enjoy your tasting class with a champagne quiz then train your nose to identify the different aromas and flavors that can be found in Champagne through an olfactory workshop. Get competitive as you blindly identify 3 different Champagnes from the family including one Grand Cru Vintage. You will enjoy some local sweet treats and finger food paired with your champagnes ! (It can be adapted to allergies or specific diets) Your Champagne experience ends around 5:30pm.

Departure from Epernay Tourist Office. Drive towards Champagne Vollereaux for a guided tour and tasting of 3 champagnes. Then after, we will drive towards Champagne Voirin Jumel in Cramant, Grand Cru Village, to enjoy another tasting of 3 champagnes, in the heart of the vineyard, with breathtaking views. Photo stop at the Cramant Belvedere to appreciate the landscapes. Then, we head towards the Jardin des Vignes in Chouilly to understand the world of the vine. Back to Epernay for a short walk on Avenue de Champagne, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where some of the most prestigious champagne houses are located. After a half-day full of experiences and memories, your guide will drop you off in front of the Epernay tourist office.
