The Giant Panda Research Base is a highlight of Chengdu's tourism industry, attracting nearly 100000 overseas tourists annually. Covering dozens of hectares of bamboo forests and similar native habitats, it is home to over 50 giant pandas, Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base may not be able to purchase tickets on the same day during peak season. We will pre book tickets for you here, and on the day of the event, you only need to bring your passport to show to the staff. Although there are usually many people, booking here can save a lot of unnecessary queuing and waiting time! The giant panda is most active in the morning. If you need our pick-up or charter services, you can also make a request to us (at an additional cost).

We have started the pandas tour in this base since 2005 and we know the base the pandas as our hands. Then, we carefully create a special visiting route to avoid the most crowds and bring you to see the walking panda, eating panda, running panda and climbing panda. On the other hand, We will reserve the admission tickets for every client in advance in order to make sure you will have the tickets and save your time. Join our small group(maximally 8 persons) for a special and efficient route to see more active pandas with fewer crowds, learn more knowledge and back grounds of the pandas, and especially make more new friends.

• No.14 Villa where you will see 2-4 of the oldest pandas, some of them have rich "diplomatic experience". • Sub-adult panda garden where you will see around 2 to 6 pandas. • Kindergarten where you will see around 4 to 6 pandas (there is also a nursery, you may get a chance to see a newborn baby if it's open for the guests) • Red panda facility where you will spot around 4 to 8 red pandas playing.
