(Closed down by P.N Argentina) – Lapataia Bay, with its landscape surrounded by mountains, its archaeological sites and the symbolic value of being the end of the Pan-American Highway. – Lago Acigami, a lake with impressive scenery and native flora and fauna. – Cañadon del Toro, here we will enjoy a picnic with some local delicacies. This is one of the quietest and least visited places in the National Park. We will also get to know the city of Ushuaia, as on our way we will see most of the city, houses, squares, schools, and the way the local population lives and is made up. At the end of the tour you can choose to get off in the city centre or we can take you back to the cruise ship.

* Half-Day (Walk with Penguins) – 7 hs duration approx. We travel by bus route no3 and J. We will sail from Harberton Bay to Hammer Island. They can walk with penguins for 1 hour with a specialized guide who will inform you about the lives of these animals. Return to the city by bus. * Full-Day (Walking with Penguins + Sailing) – Schedules to be confirmed subject to availability. First part of the tour: Walk with Penguins We will leave in a Bus traveling National Route N3 and Route J. Then we will sail 15 minutes to Hammer Island, where we will walk 1 hour alongside the Magellanic penguins and Papuans. Return to the city by bus. Second part of the tour: Navigation Beagle Channel We will sail through the Beagle Channel, where we can observe the Fueguin fauna on Bird Island and the Isle of Wolves, as well as the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Schedules subject to change due to availability of quotas at the time of booking confirmation.

We set sail from the local tourist pier crossing the wide Bay of Ushuaia until we reach the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. There we will sail around the Island of the Birds where we will be able to appreciate the Fuegian avifauna. We will observe: Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Vapor Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls and Gray Gulls. Then, we will approach Isla de los Lobos where we will be able to observe sea lions with one and two hairs. Both islands belong to the Bridges archipelago. Arriving at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Illuminators), we will be able to see the colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants while listening to the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes that he starred in 1930. We will make a descent in Puerto Karelo, belonging to the Bridges Islands, where you can visit genuine Yámana shell middens. This guided walk lasts approximately 20 minutes and concentrates us on a panoramic point where very good photographs can be taken.

This excursion begins at our office and the first stop will be La Misión, now a neighborhood in the city but also a historic site once occupied by both the native people and the first missionaries who arrived in the region. Here, we will see remnants of the settlement and admire the imposing Andes Mountains at the edge of the Beagle Channel. The excursion starts at the hotel and goes to Mirador Valle Carbajal, where you will be able to appreciate the peat bogs, with an impressive view of the mountain range and the mountain glaciers. You will make a technical stop at a winter center. Returning to route 3, you will continue the trip reaching the crossing of the Andes mountain range through the Garibaldi pass, the southern and terminal portion of the extensive Andes mountain range. Towards mid-morning you will arrive at Puesto La Carmen: you will have a hot drink and walk along the shore of Lake Fagnano, also called by the Onas "The rest of the horizon", because the imaginary line of the horizon formed by the mountain range is interrupted by the lake, and then continue on the other side. Towards noon you will arrive at the Garibaldi pass viewpoint to observe Lago Escondido from above. You will return to the winter center for lunch and then return to the city of Ushuaia.
