As the largest lagoon in Albania, it boasts an impressive population of Dalmatian pelican, making it a must-visit for birdwatching enthusiasts. Glide through the tranquil waters on a boat tour, soaking in the serene beauty and diverse birdlife. Next, we’ll venture to the iconic Castle of Berat, where you can wander through narrow streets lined with traditional houses. Climb to the castle’s heights for breathtaking views of the historic town below, offering a perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos. You’ll have the opportunity to explore Mangalem neighborhood, stroll along the scenic Osumi River, and capture stunning shots of the picturesque Gorica Bridge. This authentic area is a key reason Berat is designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy some free time before we conclude and return to your hotel in the afternoon.

We start with hotel pick-up & take you out of the city and into nature to see one of the most popular waterfalls in Albania. The Shëngjergj Waterfall is encompassed by a beautiful spring of bright and rich vegetation, joined by stratified rocks that flicker fantastically in the daylight. The source of the water is Mali me Gropa Mountain, which has amazing views too. This waterfall is 30 meters high, you will experience moderate hiking for about 15 minutes each way. In the summer months, you can enjoy a swim. The best season to go there is spring. Because of the snowmelt, the water capacity significantly increases. Enjoy a short and easy hike to find this hidden gem. After the waterfall, you will have the pleasure of enjoying the amazing view of the sunset and try the best pizza made in town.

Drive south of the Adriatic Sea for a journey blending history, culture, and natural beauties. Your first destination will be the Apollonia Archeological Park, where Julius Caesar and the Roman emperor Augustus set foot. You will take a walk around the ancient city dominated by Greco–Roman temples, olive groves, and panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea.
