Enjoy one-on-one guidance in Clay Bird Shooting from an experienced instructor, ensuring few clays get away alive. When it comes to firearms, safety is always of the utmost importance. Oxbow prioritises safety first for our Clay Bird Shooting adventure. Not only will you go through a thorough safety briefing and gun safety demonstration, but you will also be provided with high-quality protective gear, including earmuffs, glasses and a shooting vest. The stand facilitates six shooters per session; each shooter is positioned in their own stand with safety barriers to ensure safe operation at all times.

Laser Clay Shooting offers a modern and exciting spin on the traditional clay shooting experience, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Unlike traditional clay shooting, laser clay shooting uses infrared technology instead of live ammunition, that means up to five people can fire at the same time. Join us at Polowood for a day of Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Axe Throwing and Air Rifles target shooting. Our ground is set over ten acres of woodland on the South Downs. We ensure that you will have the full attention of our qualified and experienced instructors by using our pre-booking services. We provide our services to Gun Clubs, Shooting Groups, Novice Shooters, Stag Parties, Hen Parties, Corporate Groups, Schools, Colleges and Birthday Events. Our group sizes range from two to forty people Refreshments and toilet facilities are also available on site.

In order to book the activity you need 8 people and everything will be organised for you. You will be collected by minivan and the guide will take you to the location. Once finished you will be taken back, and the next step is to celebrate with the winners and commiserate with anyone who was not as successful. You get enough time to carry out the event and once it has finished you can be sure that you still will wish it lasted longer. On the plus side, there is nothing stopping you booking again for the next day and enjoying the experience all over again.

We will set up targets that will allow them to still take part in the activities and practice their aim. BB guns can’t be booked on their own, they can be booked along with a minimum of 2 adult shooters.
