Galway to Aran Islands Inisheer, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher Day Tour


Departing Galway at 9 AM sharp, we will travel south along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way and through the Burren to the charming village of Doolin, where you'll board the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. Explore the island’s ancient castle, sunken church, shipwreck, and beautiful beach. Enjoy a stroll through quiet boreens or hire a pony & trap or bike (extra cost). After departing Inisheer, your ferry returns to Doolin, followed by a guided cruise along the base of the Cliffs of Moher—an unforgettable view of cliffs rising 214m high and stretching 8km along the coast. Prefer not to join the cruise? You may disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group. We’ll enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal. We then spend an hour at the top of the Cliffs—enjoy a walk and stunning views from above. Once we depart the Cliffs we will take the coast road home, following the Wild Atlantic Way, arriving in Galway at approximately 19:30.

Take a cruise from Killybegs harbour in beautiful County Donegal -(voted 'the coolest place on the planet') to the base of Europe highest accessible sea cliffs, to view the breath taking Slieve League cliffs, rising 1,972 feet / 601 metres out the water. On route we pass many points of Interest including Rotten Island and St John's Point lighthouses, Drumanoo Head, Fintra Beach, Muckross Head and the famous Giant's Desk and Chair which sit in the bay ahead of the mighty cliffs. While cruising close to the cliffs, you get a great chance to see the many caves & waterfalls which dot and cascade down the rock faces. On route back you will be able to see the table shaped mountain of Benbulbin in Sligo in the distance and the towns on the coastline of Donegal Bay. Donegal Bay is one of the richest waters in the world. There are regular sightings during the summer months of marine wildlife including dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks & tuna.
