This hike takes you into the beauty of the Iblean canyon. We will hike into Cavagrande Nature reserve where the paths are mostly narrow and steep, dug in the limestone rocks, alternated with stairs. The effort of the way will be immediately repaid with the spectacular view of the beautiful lakes, where you are welcome to take a dip, and the lush vegetation.

I left my career as an environmental engineer to help myself and others get the most out of life in an adventurous and out-of-the-box way. The Berlengas Islands have all of this and much more. I'm originally from Lisbon, but I've lived in Caldas da Rainha and Peniche, and I'm a big fan of the western region of Portugal. Using a boat, we will discover about 20 km of volcanic coast between the "La Timpa" nature reserve and the protected marine area "Isola dei Ciclopi" (Aci Castello). In the company of a marine biologist and underwater environmentalist, we will discover the beautiful lava beds of this amazing protected area. Columnar basalts, ribbed lava, pillow lava and colorful marine flora and fauna will be the perfect setting for an exciting snorkeling excursion. Aperitif on board
