For 2 FULL DAYS, you'll immerse yourself in the tropical rainforest, learn about the Kichwa culture of the Napo River, and navigate the lagoon of the Huaroní tribe. The tour will be intense, but you'll make the most of every second starting from Quito City. The tour concludes in Tena City. Based on feedback from our visitors, you have the option to return to Quito or continue your journey to the city of Baños de Agua Santa and explore the southern part of Ecuador. This is one of our most comprehensive programs for experiencing Ecuador. The tour begins in Quito and travels to Imbabura Province in the northern Andes, renowned for the Otavalo indigenous market and its surroundings. On Day 2 and Day 3, we will explore the Amazon, immersing ourselves in its culture and encountering wildlife along the Napo River. Day 4 brings an adventure along the Route of the Waterfalls to the picturesque city of Baños de Agua Santa in Tungurahua Province. On Day 5, we'll trek around the Quilotoa Lagoon, nestled in the famous Avenue of the Volcanoes. Day 6 culminates with a visit to Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano in Ecuador, standing majestically at 5,890 meters. We will conclude our tour back in Quito. Tucan Eco Lodge is one of the newest lodges in the reserve, based down the Cuyabeno river it is around 30 Kilometers downstream from the entrance of the park and reachable by canoe all year long, depending on the season. The Lodge accommodates up to 24 people in two guest huts; divided into 3 cabins and 4 cabins. Each hut houses 2 – 4 people in double or triple bedrooms (as required) each with its private bathroom and shower. Our lodge has a relaxing area with hammocks and a platform where one can watch the river and at the right time of year, you can spot the pink river dolphins. All our guests are assisted by an accredited naturalist guide and licensed canoe driver because we know that a good guide above all is crucial for a good tour. * On same days there might not be a tourist bus, in that case you'll travel by public bus,(approx 20$)

Located downstream on the Cuyabeno River, Tucan Eco Lodge is one of the reserve's newest lodges. Depending on the season, it can be reached by canoe around 30 kilometers from the park entrance. The Lodge has two guest huts, each with three or four cabins, can sleep up to 24 guests. Every hut can accommodate two to four individuals with its own private bathroom and shower, and double or triple bedrooms if needed. Our resort features a hammock-lined relaxation area with a platform where guests may view the river and, depending on the season, see pink river dolphins. An authorized canoe driver and certified naturalist guide accompany each and every one of our customers since we know that a good guide above all is crucial for a good tour. * On some days there might not be a tourist bus, in that case you'll travel by public bus,(approx 20$ per way per person)
