The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price. The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. Let's first stop at the Mont Dore fountain, then we cross the mountain range to reach the east coast and the village of Yaté (possible stop at the Blue River Park). We then cross the coast to the south with a stop at Gîte Yia and then in the village of Touaourou and its pretty colonial church, another stop near the village of Goro towards an incredible waterfall. On the way back we will stop at the Madeleine Falls for a photo and maybe a swim before returning to Noumea.
