Start in town or at your ship on this 4.5 hour adventure. Board our 15 to 25 passenger mini coach to explore the White Pass elevation 3292 feet all the way to the Yukon. With stops to get out and see amazing Waterfalls up to 3000 feet tall, Azure Glaciers, Alpine Valleys, Snow Capped Mountains and huge Mountain Lakes. Your Guide will tell you gold rush stories, lots of history, and information about the Plants and animals in this wild and beautiful land. This is your best chance for wild life viewing in Skagway. The Sled Dog Adventure takes place in a remote portion of Canada. Play with the puppies while learning what a mushers life is all about.  On this 20 minute ride you will be amazed by the dogs power, grace and love for running as you fly up and down through this alpine wilderness. Ride with the some of the premier Alaska Racing Huskies, an educational Q & A presentation on Mushing by our resident mushing experts, and a visit to the FREE Puppy Camp. Feel the excitement of riding with an experienced dog sled musher over cut trails through the Yukon wilderness! This 6 hour tour that departs from Yukon Heath's Popcorn Emporium at 9a.m. This tour features stops at Capt Moore's Bridge and Tutshi. Next visit Caribou Crossing Iditarod Training Camp for approx 1 hour. This gives you time for lunch, the wildlife museum, petting farm and PUPPIES! The tour will also take you to Emerald Lake, The Yukon sign, the Welcome to Alaska sign, and there is a possibility of wildlife spotting including bears, sheep, caribou, elk, lynx, fox, eagles, and moose. Transportation is provided in a 24 passenger air porter bus and you are accompanied by a driver/guide.  A valid passport is REQUIRED on the day of travel Please arrive at least 30 minutes your tour is set to departure

Get to know the dogs of Susitna Sled Dog Adventures! Join us in the dog yard and enjoy some fun with a lively group of sled dogs as they run around the fenced in yard. Explore the world of sled dogs, learn what it takes to compete in races, and understand why these incredible animals thrive in this unique role. We'll tell you stories about the dogs and share adventures from the trails. After some playtime in the yard, we'll dress up a dog in a harness, show you the sled, and talk about the winter gear we use. If we have any puppies, we'll end the visit cuddling with the next generation of athletes. This is a great activity for dog lovers who want to learn about sled dogs, and more importantly, get a dose of dog therapy.

Our Tundra Walks happen only 2 times per day and are limited to small groups. Our focus is on facilitating organic experiences that foster meaningful and lasting connections with the land, the dogs and most importantly, you! Come take a walk with the the friendliest Alaskan Huskies around!

You will get some great advice from our guide to help you have a wonderful experience as a musher (driver) and become one with nature. All our 84 friendly Alaskan huskies have names and different personalities. They love to run and receive cuddles. We travel over tundra and through forests and you will get in close contact with both nature and dogs. During daytime, you will get a beautiful view towards the Lyngen Alps, and during dark season you can experience the northern light dancing above us. Two people share each sled and we will stop along the way to change mushers and to take photos.
