Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

Join our fully narrated 90 minute dolphin/sightseeing tour from the Jekyll Wharf as we travel the scenic waterways of beautiful Jekyll Island to observe the magnificent bottlenose dolphins feeding, playing, or simply cruising about in their natural habitat while you learn about their social behavior, feeding habits, and much more. The waters around Jekyll are home to one of the world’s largest populations of these beautiful creatures. Our tour will take you along the intra coastal waterway, salt marshes and wilderness beaches. Along with seeing Dolphin there are often sea turtles, manatees, egrets, herons, roseate spoonbills, and osprey plus shrimp boats and luxury yachts. Our comfortable boats are US Coast Guard and certified for 49 passengers per boat, are equipped with a sun cover, MP3 Stereo and a bathroom. This Echo friendly tours will teach you all about the Dolphins, Manatees, Rays and Sea Birds. This comfortable vessel has shade and restroom on board. Please be there 10 minutes before departure time. We do not wait to leave. This tour runs Thurs thru Sunday only.

Dolphin House trip in the most beautiful trip to see the dolphin in its natural environment at a time when you have a chance not frequent swimming next to the dolphins in a rare experience. The trip program also includes lunch, which consists of an open buffet containing meat and salads, fruit. Water, soft and hot drinks are available during the whole trip which starts around 09:00 am and ends around 4:00 pm. Kindly remember to take your own towels with you as you will receive the snorkeling tools (masks and swimming fins) Remember that Adolph marine organism is affected by circumstance atmosphere and the weather so sometimes you may see it and sometime you may not.

Come explore the low country on a 90 minute dolphin tour with Island Head. We depart from Broad Creek Marina in the center of Hilton Head Island. We explore the beautiful water way of Broad Creek a rich eco system of wildlife including the famous bottle nose dolphin, a variety of birds, and so much more. We will also explore the Calibogue Sound where we will see from the water the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse, Daufuskie Island, Buck Island, Bull Island, and see Hilton Head Island from the water. Depending on the time of day and tides the captain will take the boat to the best spot off of these locations to increase our chances to find some wildlife. Participants will be picked up from their hotel in the early morning by air-conditioned microbus and taken to the boat. The drive takes you to the Dolphinhouse, which is known for hosting dolphins. The probability of encountering a school of dolphins here is around 90%. Lunch will be served during the trip.
