We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

Our tour begins in the Financial District at Kane’s Donuts where we’ll sample several of their daily flavors. After which, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront on our way over to Boston’s Public Market. While there, we’ll try some delicious donuts and apple cider. You’ll also learn some history around the market and have a moment to check out other vendors. On to our third stop, we’ll walk through Boston’s North End or “Little Italy” neighborhood – one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston. In the North End, we’ll stop at one of the oldest bakeries in the neighborhood. We’ll have a uniquely Boston treat while we’re here. Lastly, we’ll walk back through the North End to end our tour back at the Public Market where we’ll finish with Union Square Donuts. Our tour begins in the Sobro (South of Broadway) neighborhood at Parlor Doughnuts, one of the newest editions to the area. Here we’ll try some of their amazing donuts, featured above. After that, we’ll take a leisurely walk through downtown, stopping along the way to talk about the major entertainment district along Broadway. We’ll then continue our way to two amazing donut shops in the Arts District. We’ll end our tour at Donut Distillery in the Assembly Food Hall, which has plenty of options for delicious donuts, as well as other amazing food and drinks. Most people are familiar with Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, but many people don’t know Magazine Street, where our tour takes place and has a rich history around food, art, culture and nightlife. We’ll visit 4 different shops – trying donuts and beignets all along the way. Starting with traditional beignets with powdered sugar and a coffee in hand, we’ll learn about the neighborhoods rich history as it relates to New Orleans. At our second stop, we’ll follow that up with artisanal donuts at one of the best donut shops in New Orleans. After a short walk, we’ll have some super interesting beignets with various toppings and sauces, unlike anything you’ve tried before. Join us for a historic Donut adventure through our nation’s capital, Washington DC. Our tour begins in Western Market, which has a legacy dating back to 1802! There we will sample donuts made from a business that’s been in the same family for five generations. From there we’ll head downtown, where we’ll see a restaurant favored by a former President before passing by the White House itself for a perfect photo op. After soaking in some history at Lafayette Square, we’ll head deeper into DC to try some local fan favorite donuts from local celebrities. From there, we’ll head down Palmers Alley, the most instagrammable spot in DC, where we’ll end our adventure with delectable donuts with an international flavor. Join us on a donut adventure through the most interesting parts of downtown Toronto, Kensington Market and Chinatown! We begin at Cops Doughnuts right in the heart of the Fashion District. You’ll love their hot, fresh and tiny doughnuts as well as their super cute aesthetic. From here, we’ll make our way over to Queen street and our next doughnut shop, Bloomer’s. Along Queen street, you’ll find numerous shops and restaurants that you’ll want to add to your itinerary for later that day or the next time you’re in Toronto. After a quick bit of history around Bloomer’s and the surrounding neighborhood, we’ll sample some delicious donuts made fresh daily and then make our way through Alexandra Park, on our way to Kensington Market. We have two stops lined up for Kensington Market. We want to tell you what they are, but we don’t want to ruin the surprise.

Our tour starts at a quintessentially Victoria donut shop, Empire Donuts, in the heart of downtown. Empire is known for its unique donuts in an intergalactic 50’s diner style shop. From there, we walk a short distance to a beloved coffee and donut spot in Victoria, passing some of the best restaurant locations (according to our guides!) along the way. Next, we will make our way down to Government Street, taking in the inner harbour which includes the Empress hotel and parliament buildings. As we weave our way back into downtown, we will eventually hit our third donut spot, a local ma and pop shop for delightful donuts. Finally, we will walk towards Chinatown and end at Friend and Family Bake in Fantan Alley. This bakery has numerous Filipino treats, including donuts, and if we are lucky, we can see these delicious treats being made. We can’t wait to show you this wonderful city in all its donut glory! And our last stop may change based on the group or the weather, so we won’t ruin the surprise, but the two options we’ve picked out are both equally fantastic.

Our tour begins outside 49th Parallel Cafe in beautiful downtown Vancouver. One of Vancouver’s most popular cafes and donut shops, 49th Parallel is home to some of the most aesthetic and tasty donuts you'll ever see. From there, we'll take a leisurely walk down Bute Street and along the water, discussing Vancouver's vibrant history while appreciating incredible waterfront views. We'll then visit a hidden gem – Giovane Cafe. At Giovane, we'll experience unique Italian and Austrian-inspired donuts. After that, we'll be walking through parts of historic downtown Vancouver before reaching our third stop, Breka Bakery.
