If you want to see the more active pandas with less crowds, you can choose the option 1 to visit Dujiangyan panda base and irrigation park as a day tour. However, if you have already seen the pandas before and you like hiking in the nature, please choose the option 2 to visit the UNESCO's natural and cultural heritage-Mt. Qingcheng and Dujiangyan irrigation system. Furthermore, if you only need a private transfer to those attractions, please select the option 3 and 4

Volunteer for a day with giant pandas on a private tour at the Dujiangyan Giant Panda Center. 7：00-8:40 Pick up and go to Dujiangyan or Wolong Panda Base 8:40-9:00 Complete registration procedure; put on the work suit and gloves, wear the volunteer pass card. 9:00-10:00 Start to clean the panda enclosure ,as well as cracking bamboos,carry out the leftovers, etc. 10:00-11:30 Walk around other panda enclosures to see the adorable black and white animals, learn more stories about the pandas. 11:30-13:00 Lunch and break 13:00-14:00 Watch a panda documentary to learn more about the scientific facts and the life of panda. 14:00-15:00 Make panda cakes , cut the bamboo leaves and be issued the certificate of panda volunteering exerience. 15:00-17:00 Drive back to downtown Chengdu Pls notice that this is a rough schedule for the day tour, it may be affected by the panda’s conditions.

Dujianyan Panda Base is one of the few bases offer panda volunteer program in China. The full day program include panda food making and features of documentary video of releasing panda to the wildness. Accompanied by a professional panda expert who will introduce you the topics of the panda discovery, the history of panda in China, the classification, and panda conservation. Dujiangyan Panda Base is dedicated to the study of disease control and rescue of wild pandas where you will contribute to the conservation of endangered panda bears! ***Starting from April 25, 2024, panda volunteers will not be allowed to enter the panda enclosure, and the arrangement of clean the panda enclosures & collect panda poop will be canceled. ***Any activities missed due to being late will not be rescheduled, and guests will bear the consequences.

Mount Qingcheng is a mountain in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China. It is considered one of the birthplaces of Taoism and one of most important Taoist centres in China. It is home to Dujiangyan Giant Panda Center and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.At a height of only 1,260 meters (4,133 feet), Mount Qingcheng is one of the best day trekking options surrounding Chengdu.
