A chocolate experience to remember! See and touch the fruit of the chocolate tree, and learn all about how the beans are transformed into delicious chocolate. Have fun making your own Scottish-themed chocolate to take home! You can even make a chocolate Greyfriar's Bobby, a chocolate Nessie or a chocolate Edinburgh Castle! Next, come to the tasting room with a wide selection of chocolates from both Scottish and international chocolate makers. There are over 30 varieties to choose from including Haggis chocolate, Japanese chocolate, chilli chocolate, gin chocolate and many, many more. Finally, wrap your delicious chocolates to take home to enjoy or give as a gift. Chocolate samples are provided throughout the tour. Vegan or milk-free options are available. Let us introduce you to our story as we put Edinburgh back onto the whisky map as the city’s first single malt distillery for over a hundred years. Alongside a sample of our classic expression, learn about how we apply our whisky-making ethos to create our award-winning Height of Arrows Gin with just 3 ingredients. In our whisky distillery, watch our washbacks foaming and our copper stills bubbling as your guide highlights the different stages of scotch production. From heritage and speciality malts to alternative yeasts, find out more about what we do differently to create exciting and innovative flavours for our single malts. Following a tutored tasting of our single malt whisky, delve deeper into our methods of flavour creation through our careful selection of seasoned oak barrels from around the world.

More than just a gin tasting – this is about the Evolution of Gin! On this experience you'll follow the journey of gin from its origins to the modern spirit we know and love. Your guide will lead you through the different flavours, explain the history of gin, and suggest which mixers to add to the (4) gins you will sample – the mixing is left up to you so you can have it as strong or as delicate as you'd like! Held in The Lost Close, this is an area of Edinburgh that was buried underneath the old prison building until it was uncovered in 2018, a space that only we have access to, and there's nowhere else like it in the city!

With the help of our friendly hosts, you will enjoy a one hour experience where you will create your own cocktail in our beautiful historical basement bar. You will learn how to make the famous 'Bramble' cocktail with instruction from our hosts in a fun and vibrant environment. Sample artisanal, locally made sweet treats to complement your drinks, including flavored marshmallows and macarons. learn about how gin is created, and what makes a great drink, as well as more about our history of gin production.

Our team have been at the forefront of the growth of Scottish Gin. 56 North is Scotland's oldest gin bar so we take a relaxed and fun approach to teaching people how gin is made.

Our Gin experience gives you a chance to explore three coastal gins. Native to St Andrews. Your experience will kick off with a classic gin & tonic before guests will be taken through a guided tasting flight. As you learn about each distinctive gin, you will have the opportunity to learn about some of the key coastal botanicals – many of which are sourced local to St Andrews. After the flight, you will select your favourite gin and our host will help you create a ‘perfect serve’ that’s designed to complement and enhance its flavour profile.

Scotland has some wonderful food and drink. In this food and drink tour of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital I want to show some of that to you. Scotland is more than just haggis. A national dish you may have heard of. We have an array of cheeses, fish, soft drinks, gins and whisky. As well as some delightful sweets All of this will be provided over a three hour food and drink tour. If you have dietary requirements I will do my very best to provide for you as well.

Your experience has a focus on being an interactive, hands-on experience. This experience is great for people who may have already been on a 'gin' tour and are looking for something a little different. While many other gin experiences from other distilleries teach people about the history of gin making, we prefer to focus on modern drinks trends and the exciting innovations of current Scottish gin production. Stroll through the gin triangle area in Edinburgh and learn about the history of distilling in the area going back hundreds of years. You will also learn about the different styles of gin and the botanicals that make them different, get to know your local host and enjoy their company as you stroll through the streets together and discover the variety of gin there is in the world and tailor your personal tastes to your perfect gin.
