We start our tour in the morning and visit the Myrtos beach, which is well known for the buest waters, the golden sun, and the wondreful view from the top. We will provide you beach towels free of charge. Our next destination is the wonderfull cave of the numph Melissani and ancient Greek God Panas. Melissani lake cave has been in kefalonia since mythical times, and first explored in 1951. An earthquake created an opening in the roof, of the lake cave, and that roof allows the limited entrance to the Sun rays and creates an extraordinary scene of blue and turquoise waters. We will visit the interior of the lake cave by boat , and we will also see the small island where our ancestors, held ceremonies dedicated to God Panas and the nymphs. On our way back we can stop in Agia Efimia, a picturusque fishing village for a lunch, and return back in Argostoli full of beautifull memories.

Passing through the Mount Aenos we will arrive in the area of Omala Valley and we will find the largest religious monument in Kefalonia having been established in 1560 by St. Gerasimos, the patron saint of the island. You cannot pass from Kefalonia without tasting a glass of the famous local wine or other traditional products at a Winery which operates as an exhibition of wines, alcoholic beverages & traditional products of Kefalonia and other Ionian Islands, located in this area. Continuing we will visit t the subterranean lake of Melissani, where small boats carrying visitors to admire the spectacular sight of the stalactites and the changing kaleidoscopic colors of the water and Drogarati Cave, discovered 300 years ago when an earthquake exposed the entrance. Leaving the caves we will meet another beautiful location surrounded by sea and fir tree cloaked mountains, Agia Efimia. The first stop of this unforgettable day will be at the monastery of St. Gerassimos the patron of the island. The monastery is considered as one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Kefalonia and it is situated under the imposing Mount Ainos. Next you head to the impressive Drogarati Cave located outside Sami, experts estimate that the cave is about 150 million years old. Continuing on to Melissani Lake and Cave where you will explore by boat the stalactites that are over 20.000 years old. We meet at 8:30am in the yacht and set sail for our first stop Aspros Gialos Beach (or Polis beach as an alternative). We then sail to Kioni village, a neoclassical gem flowing amphitheatrically down to the sea. While sailing north, along Ithaca’s coast we see on the other hand side (left) the popular Fiscardo village in Kefalonia. After lunch, we keep on our sailing to the east coast of Ithaca and see the magnificent Vathy bay as well as other charming beaches. Our destination is now Gidaki Beach (or alternative Filiatro Beach). Gidaki is considered by many people the best beach in Ithaca, while it is often ranked among the best beaches in Greece.
