In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn. On this half day small group tour you will explore the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site Waddensea. We will pick you up right in the center of Amsterdam in the morning and drive you through the beautiful Dutch country side: land claimed from the sea, past farms, villages and windmills. Upon arrival, we will board our ship that takes us onto the Waddensea. Because of its unique coastal wetlands and tidal system, it is a refuge for a huge number of animals, including marine mammals such as the harbor seals, gray seals and harbor porpoises. Then we will explore the Waddensea by boat at low tide, scouting for gray seals, harbor seals and migrating birds. After the boat tour you have time to explore the historic town of Medemblik, wander the narrow streets, visit the windmill, brewery or the castle, shop or have lunch!

Starting from your hotel or cruise ship in Amsterdam, you will be picked up to drive through the Netherlands. You will stop outside of Amsterdam to learn more about the history of the city. You will stop at a cheese farm to visit the cows stable to learn more about the farm and to meet the animals. You will also receive an explanation about cheese making before you can taste a variety of cheeses at their cheese shop. Your trip continues up north to the famous Enclosing Dike. A more than 30 kilometers long wall that blocks the water from the North Sea and keeps a large part of the Netherlands safe and dry. You will stop here to have a look around and for a cup of coffee. From here, you will drive to Giethoorn for lunch before getting on a boat to see why whis unique village is called "Venice of the North". After an exciting day, your guide will drive you back to Amsterdam.
