After Dark Tasmanian Devil Feeding Tour at Cradle Mountain


The after dark feeding tour is an experience that is unique to Devils@Cradle. This tour provides an unforgettable experience, and the opportunity to observe these extraordinary animals whilst one of our keepers gives you a greater understanding of them, and details the conservation work being undertaken within the facility. Devils and quolls are primarily nocturnal species, therefore are far more active at night, and the introduction of food generally stimulates some fierce competition between them. We use environmentally sensitive lighting and focus on the social interactions and feeding habits of these unique carnivores, allowing visitors a rare up close opportunity of seeing Tasmanian devils in a group feeding situation – quite a spectacular sight!


Outer Reef Mackay Cay Sail & Snorkel Adventure from Port Douglas


Set sail from Port Douglas for a day of snorkeling and adventure on the Outer Barrier Reef. Immersed in the northern frontier of Great Barrier Reef, this is the perfect sailing and snorkelling adventure for a conservation minded visitor. Ideally suited to those who can swim and have a spirit of fun and adventure. The white sands of the coral cay are surrounded by tropical waters filled with fish, turtles and coral. Tour last a little bit more than 3 hrs and includes snorkeling gear , drinks ( beer and water), transportation and English speaking guide. Highly recommended starting time in the morning. Cocora Valley Tour and Coffee Farms


We started in Salento Quindío meeting point with the guide to board the transport that would take us to the Cocora Valley. Where our adventure will start walking through the artificial attractions with time for photos: The chieftain hand, butterfly, jeep, net, nest, Cocora signs, condor wings among others. Lagoa do Fogo, Hike Salto do Cabrito and Hotsprings


Amazing hike in the central part of the island at the bottom of the volcano of Lagoa do Fogo, where you will hike among lush vegetation, water streams and a beautiful natural waterfall that you can even swim in. In the end of the hike, you will also have the opportunity to relax on the hotsprings that are naturally heated by Lagoa do Fogo volcano. Also included in this tour is one of the most important views of the Island – the viewpoint to the caldera of Lagoa do Fogo – one of the seven wonders of Portugal! This hike takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete and it is 8.5 km (5.2miles) long with a medium difficulty level.

Admire the lush green layered crops before continuing to 4 viewpoints where you can take pictures of the highlands and the coast. All passengers must be ready at the designated pickup location at 8:45 a.m. Delays may be expected, due to traffic, high number of passengers or other reasons.

You will cover a lot of beautiful roads and views along the way – lush green fields, cows, flowers, ocean and cliffs, and plenty of stops to enjoy them. Bathing on hot springs or stopping for lunch is possible although expenses are not included, and please note these activities take about 1h30 of the itinerary.
