This is a half day tasting tour designed for those with limited time on Kangaroo Island. Pick ups are available from the airport or hotel. Visit Clifford's Honey where you can taste the different varieties of honey, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and learn about how the eucalyptus oil is distilled, Bay of Shoals Winery for a wine tasting and Kangaroo Island Spirits for a gin tasting. We also stop at Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning/afternoon tea, if time permits. A great way to explore local produce!

Apart from its amazing wildlife, Kangaroo Island is well known for its thriving food & wine industry and your local guide will introduce you to some of the island’s leading creators where you will taste some local Kangaroo Island produce. This tour departs from Penneshaw, American River and Kingscote hotels, and you will need to select your departure option at time of booking. NOTE: Tour returns to Penneshaw at 6.15pm, so may not be suitable for Cruise Ship passengers.

Travel in a comfortable 4WD to visit the Dudley Peninsula, Pennington Bay, Eucalyptus Distillery and Honey Farm. Stop to visit a winery or two if interested in local wines. You will have an experienced tour guide and with their experience you will be able to observe the wildlife in their natural habitat. ***Unfortunately this tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers arriving to the island because we will finish later than the last ship tender***

Kangaroo Island has plenty to offer everyone. Enjoy a full day out visiting a number of outlets on the island while taking in spectacular scenery along the way. Visit Clifford's Honey where you will learn about the Ligurian Bee, then stop next at the Eucalyptus Distillery to taste the local eucalyptus and enjoy some cider tastings. Head to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Enjoy wine tasting at Bay of Shoal Wines while taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at either Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafood or Cactus Cafe, before heading to Kangaroo Island Spirits to experience some award winning gin. If time permits, we will stop at one more winery along the way before heading back to your accommodation.

Immerse yourself in a day of Australian wildlife, gorgeous scenery, and some of Kangaroo Island’s most iconic nature locations. Firstly visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and enjoy a light morning break while keeping an eye out for the local Emu mob. Head in to the iconic Flinders Chase National Park. The parks must-see sights include Admiral’s Arch, a beautiful natural rock arch shaped by the powerful Southern Ocean, and the sculptured granite boulders known as Remarkable Rocks. Lunch is a picnic lunch at Flinders Chase National Park. Next stop on this day of wildlife and sights is the Kangaroo Island Raptor Domain. You’ll enjoy the chance to get up close and personal with some of the most beautiful but deadly birds in the world. Having ticked off a bucket list worth of sights on Kangaroo Island, sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic drive back to Penneshaw.

After lunch, we’ll take a short drive to the Bay of Shoals Wines overlooking the picturesque vineyards and sheltered bay. Kangaroo Island Spirits is the makers of the world’s best contemporary gin. Discover and decide for yourself with a tasting of their boutique gin and liqueurs. After an enjoyable day, we will take you back to your hotel, or to the Airport/Ferry. ***Unfortunately this tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers arriving to the island because we will finish later than the last ship tender***
