Since then it has always been a vivid place of prosperity and growth, influenced through the ages by the various cultures, Romans, Arabs, Jews, Venetians and Ottoman Turks. We will stroll through the historic alleys and see the Byzantine and the Venetian/Ottoman Walls and Fortifications, then walk through the main streets and see the emergence of history from the archeological excavations of the Minoan era to the Medieval and Recent Ages through the old buildings, the churches, the synagogues and the mosques. Also we will visit the Orthodox, the Muslim and the Jewish Quarter and explore how people lived together through times with peace or turbulence. Optionally we could have lunch in a local restaurant after the end of the tour.

Our first stop is Perge, about 15 kilometers from Antalya. The Trojans, under the leadership of the oracle Kalhas, are said to have founded this ancient city. In this historic city, we can observe a Roman theater, a splendid stadium with seating for 10.000 spectators, a Hellenistic gate, an agora, Roman baths, columns along the main thoroughfares, a nymphaeum, etc.
The ancient city of Aspendos was one of the first to manufacture coins in the fifth century BC. It was the greatest city of ancient Pamphylia and the hub of trade for the southern part of modern-day Anatolia. A school of philosophy was created here, where many of the philosophers of the time studied.
An important tourist attraction and destination is the immaculately preserved and renovated Aspendos amphitheater, which was constructed in 155 AD. With its exceptional acoustics and stage décor, it has the capacity to hold up to 55,000 spectators and is currently used for significant concerts, festivals, and cultural events.

Antalya-Mersin highway 15.miles. turn left from the fog. with a rich flora, 33 hectares, 18 meters. the waterfall, which has a capacity of 12,000 people/day, is reached between the pine trees pouring from the height. 7 small pond connected to each other with small waterfalls, 2 km.this waterfall within a canyon was opened in 1986. The rich flora and fauna around it have made it one of the top priorities for eco-tourism activities such as hiking, observing plants and animals.
