As the sun sets, we continue our safari and search for some of the iconic animals that call this landscape home, such as moose, deer, and wild boar. This tour is the perfect way to complement a city visit with an authentic nature experience—combining local flavours, forest atmosphere, and real encounters with Sweden’s wildlife.


Glacier & Wildlife Discovery Tour


This is the perfect tour for those with limited time in Alaska. Experience magnificent Portage Glacier on this full-day tour from Anchorage, as well as famous Seward Highway, America's most scenic road. Hugging the edge of Turnagain Arm, stop at lookouts like Beluga Point to try to spot all sheep then, continue on to see even more wildlife at the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge (seasonal). Take a 1-hour cruise on Portage Lake to see Portage Glacier calving, and see where wildlife is rehabilitated at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Later, head high up on the Chugach Mountains for amazing panoramic views of the Anchorage bowl and beyond (weather permitting) This is a 6-hr tour (approx.) Activity Level: EASY Guests should be able to walk short distances on uneven ground. Trails surfaces vary from paved to uneven natural terrain. Tour participants must be able to walk a short distance and be able to get in/out of the tour vehicle with minimal assistance.

Your headlight (yours to keep after the tour) makes the frozen waterfalls shimmer as you hike along the suspended catwalk in quiet darkness. The evening icewalk is all about heightening your senses, appreciating the darkness, the scents of the fresh pine forest and enjoying the silence of a night spent beneath the stars as you follow your guide through this narrow, water-formed canyon.

Starting at the canyon’s base, you will be accompanied by your expert guide on a trail that winds through the canyon offering breathtaking views of waterfalls and the pristine turquoise waters from the creek below. The Lower Falls are the first stop, where you can stand in awe as the waterfall cascades through a narrow rock corridor. The mist and the roar of the water make this a truly immersive experience. Then, you may continue up the trail on a self-guided hike to the Upper Falls, where the canyon widens and the waterfall becomes even more impressive, dropping over 30m (90ft). The upper falls offer an excellent viewpoint, allowing you to soak in the surrounding natural beauty of Johnston Canyon.

Our desert safari starts we will pick you up at your hotel or residence anywhere in Dubai and take you to the safari site in a 4×4 SUV. The first stage of your Arabian adventure is a thrilling dune bashing session. A unique experience on Dubai Desert with our professional desert safari license driver. Afterward, we will take you to our desert camp to continue the adventure with a camel ride. The camel has been called the ship of the desert and riding on one is surprisingly relaxing. Photo opportunities are also provided of you on the back of a camel. You can also be photographed wearing traditional Arabian garb, and with a falcon on your arm. Finally, you will end your Desert Safari Tour adventure under the open night sky. You will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner of barbecue, with plenty of cool drinks available.
