It is a special activity because it takes place in the afternoon with few people on the route with the possibility of seeing the Sunset over the clouds in the Magical Forest of Fanal, where we will walk through the magical forest of the Laurissilva natural heritage of UNESCO since 1999. Endemic plants will always be a constant along the route, valleys, mountains and all its surrounding landscape. At the end of the walk, we will watch the sunset, weather conditions permitting, in a magical place such as the Fanal forest with its centuries-old trees. We make a brief stop at a local bar where we show off our traditional Poncha (optional). We continue to Fanal, where we stop to observe its natural park, where we can find centuries-old trees, its fauna and flora. Continuing our tour, we head to Porto Moniz, where we take a break to try the local cuisine (lunch), and take advantage of the natural pools for a brief swim (optional). We resumed the tour, passing through places such as Ribeira da Janela, Ribeira Funda, Seixal, places with a lot of Madeiran culture, natural beaches, waterfalls, etc. Ending our trip returning to Funchal.
