We pick you up from the hotel then stop at green rice field to learn about circle of rice life and use farming tools like harrow,plough,hoes…to plant baby wet rice or seeding rice…interesting past is all of you join in catch some live fish living under the wet mud at the rice fields. Jump on buffaloes riding along on the green rice field with great experience and learn how to care and feed grass for buffaloes. Stop at our local fishermen then get on bamboo basket boat to explore coconut forest. Join in fishing by hand net,lift net to catch live fish on the river. Stop our boat at coconut tree to catch live crabs by bamboo poles. Give back all fish and crab back life with our wish. Recharge our interesting day with special local food and vietnamese coffee making class prepared by our host before getting back hotel.

Our Hoi An Farming And Fishing Life Tour provides you with a close-up and intimate exposure to both the local farming and fishing communities. You commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life firsthand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities – coming and visiting a beautiful organic vegetable village, watering and planting vegetables, hoeing the soil with a local farmer, riding a water buffalo in a rice paddy field; seeing ducks swimming along the rice farm or farmers tending their crops. Later you will board the basket boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while the waterways of coconut palm paradise. This tour provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities. After that, we will enjoy the local food in Hoi An.

During this enjoyable cooking class activity, discover more about Vietnamese culture through its cuisine. You'll browse the fresh produce market in Hoi An before entering the kitchen to choose the ingredients you'll use. Then, come to Tra Que Organic Farm, turn into a real farmer and learn farming techniques from a local farmer. Enjoy a two-hour cooking class while picking up new cooking techniques. Afterward, enjoy eating what you've made. Prepare papaya salad, spring rolls, Vietnamese pancake, fish in clay pot and other dishes. Select from tours in the morning or the afternoon.
