Given every half hour, our guided tours are both informative and interactive. A knowledgeable guide will first introduce the adult emus and ostriches. You will learn about the ostrich's amazing speed as well as other defense mechanisms it uses against predators. Mating, rearing, and feeding habits will both surprise and amuse you. You will even have the opportunity to hand-feed the not-so-shy creatures. Just watch out! Ostriches are ALWAYS hungry, and if you have food in your hands, you may quickly find yourself surrounded by a herd of curious critters.

Come and meet the alpacas at our farm in Kenilworth in Warwickshire! The experience is 2 hours long. We start with a short talk about alpacas and the chance to see our shop selling hand knitted alpaca accessories. Then meet the alpacas, cuddle some babies and take photos. Then a tour round the farm to feed the herd and we finish with taking an alpaca for a walk. All experiences must be booked in advance. We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. Under 17s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Under 12s cannot walk alpacas alone but can walk with an adult. Minimum group numbers required for sessions to go ahead. May be cancelled and rescheduled due to bad weather conditions. No dogs allowed.

Our ranch is a breeding facility to save the Rare Red Friesians. With only 14 in the world, our ranch owns 4 of them and with more to come. All of our Friesians are used in our breeding program as well as workshop and riding horses. Even the babies are used for our tour groups and horsemanship classes. Nowhere else in the world can you get this up close and comfortable with Friesian horses. This special herd welcomes all people. You will learn about the breed and the special program to save and promote the Red Friesians. They will steal your heart and put big smiles on your faces. You will walk away in love with these Fairytale horses, guaranteed!!

Snuggles, cuddles, hugs – all the things that our goats love to do, but we make it into a whole experience by taking the goats walking through our fields in any weather. We end up in the Goat Playground where everyone hangs out with the goats, lots of time for bonding with our little goaties. We dare you to leave without a smile on your face – or maybe you won't leave at all! You are also welcome to enjoy a delicious meal at our Screaming Goat Cafe, which features, local, handmade meals and snacks. You are invited to be a part of the real life of the Sámi people. A professional reindeer herder will introduce you to his reindeer herd in his native environment. We are a reindeer herding family in Swedish lapland. We live and operate in the northern Sweden, middle of the Torneträsk-Soppero primeval forest which is located north of Kiruna city. We are an indigenous people in Europe and the Nordic countries. The area that has historically been inhabited by our ancestors for generations is called Sápmi and includes northern part of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. Our goal for you is to have a genuine experience with us, in our everyday life.

Visit a reindeer camp outside of Tromsø on this 4 hour tour that introduces you to a little Sami culture. Then we'll cycle on quiet country roads to see scenic farmland & fishing villages. You'll enjoy beautiful views & exciting activities with the locals: Visit a local home, learn the process of making Bean Sprouts. Ride past duck farms & cow herds. Visit Tra Que vegetable village, walk in the scenic gardens to smell amazing herbs. Help a local man work the soil, plant & water the vegetables. Ride along shrimp farms & rice paddies, see buffalo herds to take pictures. Visit Cam Thanh water coconut forest. Hop in the basket boats to enjoy a relaxing trip along the river. Your trip will give you a chance to do scenic and wildlife viewing drives from morning to late afternoon in Tarangire National Park with a wildlife professional and experienced guide. The park closes at 6pm so you'll have a choice of spending the whole day in the park.

The reindeer and the Sami have been living and working on this land for centuries and they have only recently invited guests to be part of their daily life. You will visit their camp and have a chance to feed the herd of around 300 wild reindeer who will swarm all around and some will even eat from your hands. You will also enjoy a 15-20 minute sleigh ride pulled by the reindeer. You will then be invited for hot drinks around the fire inside a warm candle lit gamme (Traditional Sami Hut) where a relaxed three course meal will be served, including bidos cooked over the open fire (a traditional Sami stew). After dinner you will be invited into a lavvu (Sami tent) and gather round the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests. If you are lucky and the sky is clear you will have a chance to see the northern lights above the reindeer camp.

We work exclusively with local, passionate mushers who view their dog teams as their family, and you will have the chance to understand this incredible sport on your hourlong ride through the snowy forest. You will ride on a genuine dogsled, either seated or standing, as the team of 8 dogs swings through the forest with you and your guide at a comfortable but thrilling pace. You will also have the chance to see the dog kennels, and a replica of a dog-sled race checkpoint, where the competitive mushers stop for fuel and rest on their long winter races. On your reindeer tour, our experienced reindeer handlers will introduce you to the herd of reindeer at Borealis Basecamp, and you can feed, meet, and take pictures with these incredible animals.
