It's the second large-scale venue with about 7,000 paticipants to celebrate Yi Peng Lantern Festival, with breath taking views of thousands lanterns flying in the sky. The Senshu Beach Lantern Festival sees thousands of sky lanterns rise into the night sky, creating a dreamy sea of lights. At this event, participants release their past worries and burdens by entrusting them to lanterns, letting them soar into the sky to cleanse their hearts and take a new step forward. The lantern lights, symbolizing love, peace, and hope, connect people's hearts and illuminate special moments. Used in weddings, anniversaries, and various festivals, these lanterns are believed to carry wishes to the heavens as their light ascends. In line with the Osaka Expo's theme of "the future," these lanterns carry diverse wishes, adorning the night sky as they rise.

The first festival took place more than 100 years ago, in 1903. Today the Rose Festival is an international event, visited and enjoyed by thousands of tourists and guests of Kazanlak. Hand-held fireworks, TEZUTSU, is so thrilling. A magnificent column of flames erupts from the bamboo stuffed with Iron powder and finally a flame called “hane” creates a large boom while erupting. Many local people gather for this autum festival. On summer festival day, lots of TEZUTSU will be dedicated to the shrine. We meet at Toyohashi station, then take local JR train to Toyokawa station. It takes 16 minutes. It 's about 5 minutes walk from Toyokawa station to the festival site. This tour is cancelled in case of rain. We decide it on 18:00, July 20.
