We offer a cultural walking tour led by our amazing Akilah student guides. This tour gives you insight into local life for young people through the eyes of Rwanda's future leaders. We meet at the Akilah Cafe for a refreshment and snack as well an introduction to Akilah's education and leadership model. We'll take a short tour of campus and then walk from Akilah to the Nyamirambo neighborhood. On our tour, we will learn about the history of Nyamirambo – one of Rwanda's oldest and culturally vibrant neighborhoods- from students who live here. We will visit local shops & explore the area where student's live.
