Our tour will take you to know the wonderful night secrets of the rainforest accompanied by a Naturalist Guide. We will visit the trails of one of the best areas of La Fortuna for the observation of the local flora and fauna at the foot of the Arenal Volcano, Senderos and Mirador El Silencio. We will go into the forest in search of the hourglass frog, the Blue Jeans frog, the largest frog in the country, the “Chicken Eating Frog” and the most beautiful in Costa Rica, the red-eyed tree frog. Also in this place it is possible to observe some species of leaf insects, stick insects, snakes, such as the tab viper, snails, Velvets, Stone Hand Viper and coral snakes, some mammals such as sloths, possums and anteaters.

Llanos de Cortes Waterfall To start your day, we will take you to Llanos de Cortes Waterfall in Bagaces, where you can relax and take a swim at the falls or walk around exploring the flora and fauna. Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike – Tenorio Volcano National Park Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park.  You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon. Organic Farm – Sloth and Frog Sanctuary After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.

Our tour takes place on trails adjacent to the tropical forest. First we will visit a frog sanctuary where Red-eyed frogs abound. Then we will walk through trails to see more species of amphibians and surprises from the jungle. The concert offered by the frogs will accompany you throughout the tour!

Our rainforest night tour is operated in the amazing Rainmaker Park. Rainmaker is one of the most important and impressive rainforest ecosystems in Costa Rica, this is where they've discovered the great reappearance of the famous and almost extinct harlequin frog thus becoming an important field of research and scientific studies for herpetologists worldwide. This night walk takes about 2 hours to 2 1/2 hours and is leaded by a professional and expert certified guide. During the expedition you may see bats, Jesus Christ lizard, spiders, owls, high varieties of frogs, snakes and many interesting insects.

It is a unique experience in the rainforest where we will see sloths 100% guaranteed since they do not move from their natural habitat, frogs, birds, butterflies, snakes and other species of animals depending on nature, such as the tapir, in addition to knowing about the culture of coffee, chocolate and its history, you will also be able to have the opportunity to make your own coffee and chocolate, it is a very fun and learning experience. in addition to tasting a delicious typical lunch called casado.

This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous froags and snakes even birds. Done with the hike we will visit the second section of the the park to get your amazing chocolate coffee and sugar tasting along all the information provided in by our tour guides. Very instructive and educative tour!!

Live the rainforest from another perspective, 60% of its animals are active at night, come and enjoy species that you can only see when the sun goes down. Frogs, snakes, crickets, and creatures that you didn't even know they exist. Tours led by trained naturalist along flat rainforest trails start at 5:45pm at Arenal Oasis. Flashlights are provided and reservations are necessary. You need secure shoes like tennis shoes, boots or hiking (sandals are not allowed)

The trails of the Finca Lantana are a special place to see different species of frogs, snakes and insects, and other animals such as sloth, ocelot, tarantula and armadillo, as well as a variety of plants, the majestic strangler fig, and many more.You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will provide you with a flashlight and begin the magic of the forest. With a flashlight and a lot of enthusiasm the experience of walking in the darkness in the middle of the tropical forest is something to remember.

The Night Tour Refuge is a 2-hour light hike in search of the creatures of the night, recommended for anyone who wants to see wildlife such as sloths, armadillos, porcupines, opossums, coatis, olingos, and kinkajous, as well as sleeping birds and a wide variety of insects, among others. El Refugio is a privileged place to see bird species such as sleeping toucans, mot-mots, and black guans; treetop animals such as monkeys, coatis, olingos, sloths, frogs, snakes, and a wide variety of insects. On a typical tour, you will see 3-5 species of mammals, 5–10 species of birds, a couple of snakes or frogs, and many types of insects. This is the widest variety of animals you will see on any other night tour in the area. You will join a group of four to six people with a local tour guide, who will give you an introduction and flashlights before starting the walk through the trails of El Refugio.
