Join us for a relaxed informative 45 minute tour of the vineyard, winery and wine cave. Visit Home Block, the region's oldest vineyard, step into the winemaking facility where you'll get a behind the scenes glimpse of how some of the best Central Otago Pinot Noirs are made. Taste four of Gibbston Valley's premium handcrafted wines in New Zealand's largest wine cave. Arrowtown To Gibbston Valley: Ride the Arrow River Bridges Trail


This self-guided Half Day ride starts with a prompt shuttle bus departing from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown to Arrowtown. There, you'll be fitted with a bike and given all the details for your ride. The ride starts by following the spectacular Arrow River Bridges Trail to the historic Kawarau Bungy Bridge (approx. 13 km). From there, the trail continues 3km into the Gibbston Valley, where you will be collected at Gibbston Valley Winery, departing in the scheduled bus back to Queenstown and the time provided in the briefing on the day. This is a half-day ride departing Queenstown as follows: SUMMER (1 Sept – 30 Apr): Morning: Departs 9:30 am – Returns 2:00 pm Afternoon: Departs 1:00 pm – Returns 5:00 pm WINTER (1 May – 31 Aug): Morning: Departs: 10:00 am – Returns 1:30 pm Afternoon: Departs: 12:00 pm – Returns 4:00 pm

Your Cellar Door host will also take you to the region's first vines, originally planted by our founder and wine pioneer Alan Brady in 1983. This tour lasts 30 minutes and includes three delicious wine tastings of our current releases.

This 45-minute experience allows you to settle into our rustic & refined tasting space as you are guided through the intricacies of 4 cheese and wine pairings. If you would rather leave the car at home, we offer return transport from Queenstown (the Station Building) to Gibbston Valley. Select the 'with transport' option below when booking. Bike The Wineries Full Day Ride – Queenstown


This self-guided Full Day ride starts with a prompt shuttle bus departing from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown to Arrowtown. There, you'll be fitted with a bike and given all the details for your ride. The first section covers 15 km (9 miles) of scenic trail, following the Arrow and Kawarau river gorges, crossing the Edgar Swing Bridge, and reaching the iconic Kawarau Bungy Jump Bridge. In the afternoon, enjoy cycling through the Gibbston Wine Region, where you can stop at as many cellar doors as you like. The full ride covers around 25 km (16 miles) of undulating, gravel trail. The shuttle will pick you up at the designated time given in the briefing on the day from your chosen winery in Gibbston Valley. There, you'll be fitted with a bike and given all the details for your ride. The first section covers 6 km (4 miles) of scenic trail, following the Arrow and Kawarau river gorges, crossing the Edgar Swing Bridge, and reaching the iconic Kawarau Bungy Jump Bridge. In the afternoon, enjoy cycling through the Gibbston Wine Region, where you can stop at as many cellar doors as you like. The full ride covers around 17 km (11 miles) of easy, gravel trail. The shuttle will pick you up at the designated pick up time given to you on the day from your chosen winery in Gibbston Valley.
