Kayak through the mangroves of Laguna Grande and experience the natural glow of bioluminescence. Visibility varies as it's a natural phenomenon; tarps may be used to reduce moonlight or other light sources when needed. Advisories: 1. Sargassum, a harmless local seaweed, may occasionally be present and emit an odor. 2. Solo kayakers and odd-numbered groups will be paired up. 3. You will get wet—dress accordingly. 4. During peak season, high traffic may cause light contact between kayaks; our experienced guides ensure a safe and enjoyable tour. 5. Participants aged 6–14 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult. Participants aged 15–17 must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

Paddle along the southern edge of Lake Karapiro, over the old submerged Horahora Dam that produced electricity for the early Waihi goldfields. Learn the history of the Horahora village and enjoy the twilight & silence of being on the water as the day draws to an end. As night arrives over the lake , paddle slowly up the Pokaiwhenua Stream and through the canyon carved out by water over many hundreds of years. Native ferns & trees drape over you, bird life is all around. When darkness falls we float silently back downstream, being guided by the glow worms on either side sparkling like Christmas lights.

Your GlowRow tour will guide you along one of several locations on the Texas coast in clear kayaks lit up by special underwater LED lights that provide a lens in which you can observe the unique underwater world beneath you. Each kayak LED system has 7 different colors and settings to choose from, allowing you to choose your own vibe. Your tour guide will point out unique landmarks and wildlife as you paddle under the stars, as well as share any unique or interesting history and facts about the area.

Just before sunset your adventure begins. After a brief lesson on land, we head into the bay to learn tips and techniques of stand up paddling. Your experience will mostly take place in a calm bay, and one of the best places on the North Shore to experience a Hawaiian sunset – and you get to do see it while you're walking on water! This is a great chance to sight Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles as they travel back to the river. As the sun fades into the horizon, your board creates a halo of light that illuminates the ocean floor. This specific tour is really similar to the kayaking with the bats or giant Paddleboarding with the bats only its more of a VIP experience. You start after most people, stay out longer than most, and you get more photos of your group and you're after dark photos should be amazing. You are welcome to start early with the other tours to catch more of the sunset and still stay out late to play with the glow lights. Sometimes if the Glow bookings are small, we'll ask you to start early.

Our guests meet us at our shop called The BoatDega. This tour takes place along the calm canals in Treasure Island. We paddle at a slow pace. We have free parking and restrooms. We launch on the floating dock behind the shop. Each of our kayaks are double kayaks. If we have an odd number of guests, we can take one seat out of the double kayaks to make it a single seater. Otherwise you will be paddling in a double kayak. Step inside your crystal clear kayak equipped with LED's a bit before sunset and paddle into the darkness. Your tour guide will take you along the canals. Enjoy the ambiance. It's cool, calm, and quiet. The stars and the moon create a canvas in the sky, and the lights colorfully illuminate the water below. This event requires a minimum number travelers. If we do not meet the minimum requirement, we will hope to reschedule you to another date or offer you a full refund.

We’ve been tracking and monitoring a thriving colony of bush glow worms for a while now and they are magnificent, strange and magical all at the same time! Our unique species of glow worm lights up after dark like the stars to attract it's prey, it's very special. The atmosphere is pretty electric in there as we first allow our eyes become accustomed to the dark before we walk past and hear running water close by and then it's just us, and the glow worms. The luminescent larval is endemic to these shores, so it's a one off for most at a very cool piece of native forest. This local bush reserve is to remain a secret, phones are turned off. You may even be asked to wear a blind fold on route. This is an exceptionally sensitive area. Thanks for your help preserving this. This is an easy flat bush walk, you will not be on a boat

This tour departs 30 minutes prior to local sunset. It allows paddlers to experience the beauty of St Augustine at sunset with the historic lighthouse as a backdrop. Once the sun sets, you control your LED lights and are able to light up the night with the colors of your choice. Lets do sunset!
