Welcome on board! Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona and explore Catalonia's most famous mountain range. Take in the panoramic views of the mountain scenery as you ride our air-conditioned bus and discover the history of its medieval monastery by the hand of our passionate guides. Then, enjoy free time to explore on your own. You'll continue towards a beautiful boutique winery (only if Tapas or Lunch options). The cellar also happens to be a 10th century castle owned by the same family for 36 generations with magnificent views of the mountain you just visited. Discover their revival of ancient local grape varieties, which provide a unique glimpse into the region’s rich heritage. Savour traditional flavors with a light tapas brunch or enjoy a multi-course traditional lunch at the winery (depending on the option selected). After that, learn about the wine-making process, and enjoy a wine-tasting session before traveling back to Barcelona.

Verde Canyon Railroad's Grape Train Escape is an evening event, featuring onboard wine-tasting showcasing distinct vineyards from Arizona and beyond. While aboard the “Grape Train Escape,” passengers will be served a sampling of select wines. Guests also will enjoy specialty cheeses and hors d’oeuvres chosen to complement the featured wines. Viogniers from each winery will be onboard to discuss the terroir and the techniques of wine-making. This event is for passengers age 21 and up. Proof of age may be requested.

In the hills of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside,  just 2kms away from the medieval center of Siena, this Educational Wine Tour and Tasting 'Vine, Wine and Life' is a 3-hour tour held in an organic winery. Learn about the different stages of wine making through the seasons and enjoy tastings and a light lunch.

This is your opportunity to do something different and experience an undiscovered part of Spain! Awaken your senses to the sights of the stunning scenery and old rustic villages, the smells of the wild herbs & flowers, hear the wildlife and insects and taste the award winning wines. Your guide will entertain you with stories of this regions, rich history and culture and make it a day to remember! After your pick up we will drive you up into the mountains. From there you will start – after a brief safety lesson and trial run – your decent on safe and quite tarmarc roads through the fantastic mountains of the Costa Dorada. You will also cycle through one of the family's wineyard where you learn about the growing and harvesting process. The cycling concludes in an old tradional village where we will visit the over 350 year old winery where we also meet the owners. They will explain to you their tradtional wine making process and let you taste 2 of their amazing and award winning wines.

Discover Niagara-on-the-Lake’s amazing wine region and sample the area's variety of world-class wines on this morning or afternoon small-group tour! Enjoy a scenic drive to the Annapolis Valley to experience 3 award winning wineries. Sip your way through Nova Scotia wine country and learn about our cool climate wines. Stop one includes a tour/tasting at the first winery. At the second winery enjoy a guided tasting and lunch with wine at Luckett Vineyards, overlooking the beautiful Minas Basin fed by the Bay of Fundy (Luckett Vineyards is only available during May-December). Finally, visit a third winery after lunch for a final guided tasting before heading back to Halifax.

Depart from the city center of Bordeaux aboard a van to discover Saint-Emilion, its wines, and its history. First, your guide will immerse you in the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site and its historical monuments. You will discover the secrets of this medieval town, which is the birthplace of Bordeaux viticulture. At noon, a visit and tasting of 3 wines will await you in a Château of the appellation. On the menu, a picnic from an artisanal and traditional caterer, who proposes fresh, local and tasty products, as well as charcuterie from the Basque Country and cheese, accompanied by a glass of wine! Afterwards, you will visit a second Château and enjoy a tasting of 2 wines. You will learn more about the specificities of this appellation, including the grape varieties and the winemaking techniques used to create these unique wines. On this tour visitors can expierience the life of allied prisoners who lived in the camp during WW2. In 1944 more then 70 prisoners escaped from the camp but only 3 of them menaged to escape successfully. Thi tour is not only a chance to see the Museum of the camp but also to pay respect to those who died there. In the museum you can see full-size replica of the hut where the men planned their daring mass escape, and displaying many original items from the prison camp. About a half-mile drive from the hut you can also see the “Harry” tunnel dug by the prisoners (one of three tunnels dug: Tom, Dick, and Harry), which now serves as a memorial. Here you can see exactly how long the tunnel was and the exit and entry points. A guard tower has been reconstructed to show the proximity of the tunnel exit to the attentive German soldiers on patrol. You are also able to wander through the woods and see some of the original foundations of the camp.

Spätburgunder or Gewurztraminer doesn't roll easily off the tongue, but both these German wines do flow very well down your throat.
