Depart Rethymno at approximately 07:45 and travel by bus along the new national road towards the westernmost tip of Crete. Pass the bay of Souda and the former Cretan capital of Chania before your arrival in Kissamos. Upon arrival, climb aboard a boat and cross to Balos Bay at the northernmost tip of the peninsula. Relax on the 1-hour boat trip,and get 2.5 hours at Balos Bay to enjoy the soft white sands and unique blue and green waters of the lagoon. Enjoy approximately 1.5 hours at peace on Gramvousa Island, and then take a 1-hour boat ride back to Kissamos. Upon arrival, continue to Rethymno by bus at the end of the laid-back tour.

Join us for an incredible day of sun, sea, and adventure! We start from Chania Town at 08:00 AM and head towards the port of Kissamos, where our journey by boat begins. After a relaxing 1-hour ferry ride across the turquoise waters, we reach the stunning island of Gramvousa. Here you’ll have two full hours to explore the famous Venetian fortress perched high on the hill, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or simply relax on the golden beach surrounded by wild, untouched beauty. Next, we sail to the world-famous Balos Lagoon, a true paradise of white sands and shallow, turquoise waters. You’ll have three magical hours to swim, sunbathe, explore the unique landscapes, and capture unforgettable photos at one of Crete’s most iconic locations. At around 16:30, we depart from Balos and cruise back to Kissamos Port, arriving around 17:45, where our bus will be waiting to comfortably take you back to Chania after a full day of memories.

Starting early, heading west, we reach the port of Kissamos. Here we take our boat for approximately a 1 hour pleasant sail along the coastline. Arriving in the port of the ex­-pirate island of Gramvousa we hear how, during the Turkish occupation, the residents of the island started looting passing boats thus giving the island its pirate reputation. Don’t miss out on a visit to the Venetian castle on top of a steep rock as this is one of the most impressive castles in Greece. There is plenty of time for swimming or lunch on board. Our boat then departs for the Blue Lagoon of Balos, a shallow and warm water lagoon which brings to mind similar lagoons in the Caribbean. You will be disembarked at a distance of 50 meters from the shore according to the Law , as there will be no approach pier. Balos is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole world. Enjoy a fantastic swim and relax for approximately 3 hours before boarding for the return sail. An experience to remember a lifetime !

As soon as we reach the port, you go aboard the ship to set out on the cruise.The ship departs from the port at 10:20. An hour later you reach the small island of Gramvousa.The ship stays at the island for two hours.The castle of Gramvousa is to be found at the top of the island. If you wish so, you can climb up the path to the castle, if not, you can stay on the beach and swim. (Climbing will take you at least 20 min to reach the castle. Proper hiking shoes are a must!).The ship departs from Gramvousa Island at 13:30, the breath-taking lagoon of Balos being its destination.
