This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and a unique rainforest experience. This experience is focused on providing a true local view of El Yunque, with historical facts and information about the ecosystem along the trip. Transportation is included and we pick you up anywhere in the San Juan Area.

Vieques Kayaks Bio Bay excursions are guided in solid and semi clear bottom kayaks through the glowing waters of Mosquito Bay, located on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. Mosquito Bay is the brightest Bioluminescent Bay in the world! Children age five and older are welcome to join the tour with a parent or adult, so long as a ticket is purchased for each participant. To do our tour, guests MUST BE aware that Vieques is an island apart from Puerto Rico so you will need to take a ferry from Ceiba or a plane from San Juan or Ceiba and stay overnight at the island. Upon arriving in Ceiba, we will commence with a 25-30 minute hike, which includes a brief river trek. Once we enter the outskirts of the forest, you will climb through rocks and trees to reach the pristine natural pools and waterfalls. Here, you can also swing from a rope or cliff jump. We will spend some time here before proceeding to the next stop, an advanced hike to higher natural pools that lead to exciting natural waterslides. We then return through the same path, with the option to swim part of the way. Throughout this excursion, your certified guide will share important information about the only tropical rainforest in the US Forest System, as well as intriguing facts about Puerto Rico's culture and history, while ensuring you have a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience. After the tour concludes, we will stop at a local restaurant for a late lunch (food cost not included) before returning to San Juan or your initial meeting point.

We will hike an off the beaten path trail for 20-30 minutes. at this path, there are plenty of exotic plants and birds to see; the guide will share all the details about the flora and fauna of this amazing place. at the Tinajas natural pool and waterfalls, you will be able to swim in crystal clear waters and have an option to adventure on a swinging rope, or even jump up to 15 feet high rocks. we will then proceed to another 5-10 minute hike to a natural pool with a 20-foot natural waterslide and with an optional 3-foot high jump from a rock.
